So my driver side ended up lower than my passenger side by quite a bit after strange shock install. Any ideas why?

Did the spring get moved from its mount? Shocks, to my understanding dont have an impact on resting ride height unless they are too tall or short...

Strange indeed...

I'm used to the driver side being lower than the pass side with springs. I'm hoping the added weight of the battery in the trunk to make a minimal difference.

Well did this yesterday/last night. Put a new spin on the old worn out Saleen Grille mod, put one of those 3D carbon logos and customized one of the coyote 5.0 stickers.

Now I want my RTR chin spoiler/spliltter to complete the front end!

Its possible the spring may have been moved since I used a floor jack under the pinch welds to relieve tension on the rear end. I'll check that here shortly. The crazy thing is the rear ride height did change when the new shocks were installed. If both sides were even height like the driver side is I'd be more than happy

Went to Cars and Coffee in Dallas yesterday. Had a group of 16 cars cruising together! 13 of them were mustangs!

The shock should only serve to control and dampen chassis movement. If the old shock was bottomed out (I'd find this hard to be tha case on a car only lowered with springs) it would change the ride height but I would definitely make sure both springs are squarely in their perches and have the rubber isolators on correctly.

Lol I was thinking the same thing. Its dark.....that's not cars and coffee.

Cars and coffee Alaska style or they were just the first ones there lol.

Damn, what time does your C&C start, 5am?

We all met up early and cruise out there. It's an hour from my house and 2 hours from where a lot of my buddies came from. It starts at "8" but if you aren't parked at 6:30 you are parking in the overflow or the spectator parking. It's stupid early in Dallas. But the one in Fort Worth doesn't start until 8 so that's a better one to go to.

What's even more insane is that people get there at the crack of dawn and many start heading out around 8:30-9:00am. Its crazy.

Good to meet you there Moos!
