Got the front control arm replaced under warranty. No more old-car creaking over speed bumps. Now it's ready to get dropped.

Washed her up and got nasty road salt off. Took it for a spin and verified I do need drag radials. 4th gear I can get on and not boil the tires, but you are moving along then!

Kuplex, I like the rings. What did they cost you?
About $50 shipped off eBay. They are not direct fit though. They mostly clip in but I had to place a little bit of 3M on the top clip to keep it clipped in. They are slightly deeper than the 05-09 and that's where the problem is. There is also a small gap around the speaker vs inside the ring (the 2010+ must be slightly bigger). I solved this by placing a thin strip of black foam on the inside of the ring to fill it in.

My boost gauge quit working because the vacuum line popped off the back of the intake manifold. So I got to remove the CAI, throttle body and blower elbow in order to get my fingers on it to push everything back together. Five months since installing the new motor and my tune still isn't right. I'm starting to run out of patience.

I finally got my car running correctly after the new engine. No codes or check engine lights!

Now all I need is a tune.

yeah. I still need to wet sand and buff the clear to give it a smoother look but it added a little something to the boring looking dash. gonna do a few more little parts later today. I did the steering wheel spokes, I posted a pic in the pimping thread under my steering wheel/ airbag cover thread.

did these too, they came out ok cause the car is a daily driver but I may redo them.

BTW im digging that D1SC. someday maybe i'll be able to afford to S/C this car.
