LOL, thanks Darren....I think...James is doing his best to convince me to join him with a Hellcat!

You buy a Chrysler product and I'll personally drive to your house and :nk: :chainsaw:

Biggest pile of crap and you'll be stuck with it. Not the Hellcat, but the Challengers get DRUG down the track continuously at RPR Speedway in Baytown..........they are downright embarrasing..LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Get a top of the line GT500!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:beerdrink:

Yesterday ...

Cleaned/polished all the crap off the top grille using Blue Magic metal polish.
I absolutely love this product now, it did an awesome job, the top grille used to look just like the bottom one.
Not gonna do the bottom piece since it's getting replaced soon by the Roush grille delete

Removed the club decal for the club that I was a part of, from the left side of the RTR panel. This is the first step in a re-design which will see the "5.0 supercharged" decal move from the right to the left and a custom new decal will be on the bottom right. More details on that later.

I used the SVE caps, just removed the stick on emblem. Then bought a set of newer GT Pony centers (eBay $35) grinded the back of them smooth but left the center were it is slightly elevated, that helped center them. I used a plastic bonding kit from Metra (same co. that makes radio dash kits) it included a bottle of glue and a bottle of instant bonding spray. Glue them together and they are ready to pop in. I choose to plasti dip the outer ring as a personal preference to blend in with the matte finish on the wheels.

The SVE caps didn't bother me much before but now that it's changed I like it a lot better. Makes the wheels fit in better with the car.

I installed the pony caps directly into my SVE drift wheels with no mods when I had them on my 2011 and 2014. They fit with barely a tiny lip on them but even at 150+mph they never came out and you couldn't tell at all looking at them.

Finished up a couple days ago installing an Autometer Sport Comp Wideband and mechanical boost/vacuum gauge with a SoS dual-gauge pillar pod.

Good-bye Plasti-Dip.
One down, one to go.
Plasti-Dip removed, then used Wolfgang cutting compound, Wolfgang finishing glaze, then Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant.
It's shiny and smooooooooth :D

Thanks Terry, I actually just went ahead and removed that 5.0 supercharged sticker, then applied compound/finish-glaze/paint sealant to the whole panel, to get rid of the ghosting that was from the decals.

Now just the pony is back there, and I do like it a lot.

Also, just re-installed the un-dipped hood vents:

Gabe,

To me it looks just fine with or without the decals.

I upgraded my door speakers and subs to Shelby Kickers! Thumping instead of booming.
