A brand new polished Ysi-billet.

I'll never be able to spin it hard enough to make it really work, but it is going to allow me to reach my goals for sure. The novi2200 will remain on the car for this season as it's a 9 second car as is and I hate to take down a combination that is currently working.

I didn't mean to though!!! I have been looking for used YSI blowers for a while just because I am spinning my 2200 so hard as is so I wanted some extra rpm ability for efficiency. I was up late and couldn't sleep (I work nights so usually can't sleep at night on my off days) and began to browse Ebay.

This unit sells for over $4300+ from Vortech; I paid $2500. I'll make some of it back when I sell the 2200

MY CAR LIVES AGAIN!!!

been so damn impatient waiting for my m122 snout to return from DOB, it finally shows up after an hour being home and playing games, i look outside and its just pouring down rain.....

car has been outside since I couldnt pull it into the car with it torn apart from manifold up. Waited a little and the rain let up and managed to get it all slipped back together and started up :D

Got mine home from the dealer after finding out I cracked a piston and damaged the cylinder wall on #8. Now to figure out how to pay for the rebuild!

Had a free hour this afternoon so I finished replacing my plasti-dipped stock 5.0 badges.

The plast-dipped stocker:

Are you boosted? What were your mods and how long did it last?

Yes it is boosted, but only running about 7lbs. Have a hard 100000 miles on her though before boost and about 500 miles with boost. I have always beat the crap out of the car and had a bad feeling the boost would kill it soon but such is life. It will get rebuilt all forged and be a fresh engine all over again.
I was having issues losing power in fourth and it turns out it was due to this misfire, I should have shut it down sooner and had it looked at before but thought I could get it fixed myself, lesson learned!

Well a hundred thousand hard miles is pretty good! Sorry the boost cost your motor, but coming back with a forged bottom end should warrant some more psi huh?

I was thinking of dropping a pulley size or 2. Think I am running a 3.4 now but wouldn't mind getting into the 10-12psi area. It is a Saleen blower so don't want to push to high but might as well have some more fun. It is only money LOL:grd:
