My old hardwire setup for my radar detector started randomly turning off and then just died about a month or so ago. I had ordered a really nice, well protected cable on eBay that included a wired in mute button and finally got it in tonight. For now the mute button is just run below the center console hanging freely until I can decide where I want to put the button.
Those of you running any switches or buttons on the center console feel free to post a picture of where you placed it. The spots I wanted to put it don't have the space behind it to accommodate it, and I want it to be within quick reach but not just sitting out in the open. Anyone put a button in front of the e-brake?

Kyle,That switch panel looks great Terry, did you have it made somewhere?

Ryan, you can always plug the hole with a small rubber grommet if you ever go back to stock. Nobody would even notice.
No just off the shelf 127550'sNice! Are those custom grinds?

Thanks, Terry. That's where I think I want to put it but was worried about clearance behind it. I'm also somewhat concerned about if I decided to go back to stock what would happen with that hole. I have a spare center console here but it's not a MyColor unit as my car currently has.

Added a GT500 style spoiler. It was a bitch getting the old one off at first after trying to use 6lb fishing line, and a little pry tool that came with my goo gone, even after heating everything up quite a bit. Then I busted out an old metal handle spatula and pried it off easy. I like it, balances out the rear nicely. I decided to go with the CJ Pony Parts item because it came with the gurney flap painted black, whereas the American Muscle one comes with the whole spoiler painted the same color. Color match is perfect.
