I bought an emblem pros faux gas cap and it showed up cracked. I figured why not try to turn chicken shit into chicken salad so I used the emblem pros 5.0 badge and wrapped my stock badge in carbon fiber. I ended up with this. I am really happy with it.

Stopped to see about trading it in - when it left me stranded in the middle of Detroit with the cooling fan going out and the car overheating, my wife said she wants me to get something else.

I paid it off.

Actually, that happened five days ago, but figured I'd put it here.

This was about four months ago, but still looks the same with 83k miles.

Reloaded my tune after loading an "emissions" tune.

I also mounted my RAM windshield smartphone mount in anticipation of my track event in December at TWS.

Heading out shortly to the NH Mustang Club's fall Dyno Day.
It's 31 degrees out right now, only gonna be a high of about 58-60 degrees.
Smaller/lighter 18" wheels/tires on the car and cool air, I'm certainly hoping for a number higher than the 608-610 she put down when the tune was done.

Well, ended up at 604.7 rwhp and the same 517 rwtq as when I got tuned.
Which is all within tolerances, could've been some slightly worse gas than I had when I got tuned, whatever.
I wish today's number was higher but either way the car is a blast to drive.

Fiancée's car improved, even though she was on 20's today.
She went from 643/608 to 656/661.
Yeah, she's happy, lol

Using Terry/Brenspeed math, we're both at 1,000 FLYWHEEL HORSEPOWER, so that's good.

Gabe - install Legato axle backs. Dyno won't be able to hold the car.

What are the 08 500's stock rods good to? 700ish? just curious, the 5.8's are good to 850 ish I believe.

About 725-750 is what I think they're good for, and I think the 5.8 rods aren't good for much more than that.
Today's numbers she put down with 18.3 psi of boost.
A '14 GT500 that was there with a smaller pulley, a throttle body (VMP twin-67 I think) and a tune, put down 707/738 with 18.0 psi.
I don't think it had any other mods.

Shit, I didn't even think of that.
Brenspeed should start selling Legato mufflers. It could be part of their 1,000-FLYWHEEL HORSEPOWER package ... K&N filter, Legato mufflers, and a Brenspeed (canned Bama) tune, and voila, 1,000 HP !!!
