Finally got some new mid mufflers welded in. No more metal rattling at idle sounding like shit. The m80's I had were cracked internally and one started to crack on the outside. Sounds real nice idling now!!

Got the Roush axlebacks on, along with a JLT oil seperator and A Steeda ProFlow CAI with a 93 Tune. Really woke the car up. Scared the crap out of myself the first time I hit the throttle. Still getting used to the power difference between the 4.6 and the 5.0.

Washed it and made a minor adjustment to the Roush axle backs. Passenger side was a little wonky and was driving me nuts. Really happy with the quality and especially the sound of these mufflers. Regret not going with them in the first place because they are exactly what I wanted.

Today seems like the perfect day to drive it to work so I will. Upper 50's and sunny. Perfect!!!

Got my Fleabay special shift knob in today to replace the original fucked up 1. I wanted an original Bullit shifter but couldn't justify the $100 (cheapest I could find). Some cat on Ebay had 1 for sale for $280. Wtf? This is just a cheap 1 ($10 shipped) but it's got some nice heft to it like the 1 on there now and I don't have to worry about lining up the numbers juuuust right. Lol!

Washed the car, woke up and it was raining. So much for clear weather all week.

I swapped my J&M LCAs for FRPP LCAs yesterday. I was hoping to reduce a lot of noise I get in the rear. This used to not bother me as much but I've been doing a lot more road trips. Or maybe I'm getting old lol. Anyway, the difference was staggering. Before, I had noticeable gear whine starting at 70mph and building up to very loud at 80mph, sharply dropping off at higher speeds. Now I don't hear it at all at 70mph and barely hear it at 80mph with the windows up.

Turned 39,000 miles on it yesterday.
Started this year at just under 36,000

Last year I put about 3,700 miles on it.

Who knew that making it better looking, faster, quicker, and better-handling would make me drive it less?

Mine has about 9600 on it(14') first year 5k, second year 2700, this year just under 2k, probably will put another 300 hundred on it before the salt flies and it gets officially put up.
