A used set of the LU47 injectors would work just fine. I was able to push a set to around 525rwhp with e85. The stock block will be begging for mercy at that point. Maybe prior to it.

I have SD 60's and plenty of breathing room at my power level. Running 20 degrees of spark at WOT on the stock bottom. The biggest difference is the spark in the lower powerband, really picks things up. Makes a small centri car feel a little more beefy :)

I will have to think about that.

Next question is would a Ford gt or the new 340lph fuel pump work?

What boost and power are you planning to run that will determine pump and injector sizing in the long run.

i ran the supercar ford gt pump in my turbo car but it only put down maybe 450ish but it was on pump gas.

this is what i got so far and goin to get the most out of my stock bottom end as i can before i start building this winter.

62mm throttle body
bbk long tubes
o/f x-pipe
thumper cams
v3 vortech noncooler with stock pulley.

i have the 39# injectors now but that what came with the supercharger.

(so everyone still realize this is on a 07 auto 4.6 3v)

ID1000's on mine w/e85.
Makes great power and very drivable on the street for a 669 rwhp automatic car.

I understand that, Isn't the GT pump rated right at about the same level? Doesn't make sense is what I'm getting at.

Off the top of my head I think it's rated at 300 or 310. I remember it being more then the 255.

This is for an 07 3v. Not a coyote.

I was talking about the supercar pump. I'm pretty sure Bruce was as well.

And Bruce, it's rated at 310lph.

Ford gt supercar pump?

It's a walbro turbine scroll 255lph pump and flows around 250-260lph at 39psi.

The only ford pump to flow over 300lph has been the coyote pump. It flows around 350-360lph at 55psi. Making it essential a 400lph class pump at previous 39psi ford ratings.

I know back in 03/04 when I built my fuel system for my 01 GT, there were rumors that the svt focus pump flowed around 280-290lph based on some scewed hp numbers from a built focus with half the bsfc of a v8. (more than the ford GT supercar pump which was known to be a 255lph pump and back then we all called it the gt40 pump as the ford gt hadn't come out yet). But from ti automotive (walbro) who made those pumps for ford back then, it was the same pump and same flow rating as the ford gt pump. Dont quote me but I know back in those days a twin ford gt setup outflowed a twin svt focus pump setup every time, the svt focus pump was appealing as it was quite cheaper than the ford gt pump. The slightly different body and plug connector it used actualy caused it to perform under the ford gt pump. Until around 2010 most aftermarket pumps were based on the the walbro 255 armature design and there was no in tank pump with those kinds of flow numbers.
