ok, so today i drove the car 10 miles into town at 60 mph, pull away from the stoplight and first to second still stiff, drive the car through town for about 15 minutes and then let it idle while sitting in a parking lot eating lunch. drive away and still a hard time going from first to second and a slight crunch when going second to third at low speeds. finally after the 10 mile drive back home it's starting to shift smoother.. strange thing is when cold if i bring the rpms up with clutch depressed and before shifting it goes in nearly perfect.. it acts to me like a clutch that isnt fully releasing. guess i need to schedule a trip to the dealership sevice dept. I'm so very tempted to say fuck it and take the loss and trade it in a Gotta have it green A6 at the local ford dealer.
Why not take it on a cold day... Have them give you a rental, let it sit outside til they open one morning, and try it out.... should be fixed under either the TSB, warranty, or both...... Even at 50 degrees, that is unacceptable.... My bet is that they will change out the fluid. Getting a CHE-K member with the torque arms helped my 2nd to 3rd shifting immensely... only was notchy at high RPMs though. Now it's great.... 2012 Base GT coupe.
