I'm looking for advice on what RPM's to set my window switch to and then what rpm to shift at. Mods are in sig but the main things are hot rod cams, LT headers and 100 shot through a wet plate kit.

I know I'm going to set my window switch to 3000 rpm on. I'm thinking of 6100 rpm off and then shift at 6300. I won't be power shifting and I do not want to spray through shifts. I want to take as much advantage as I can of both the cams and N20 but I don't want to push the stock 4.6 too much.

Weigh in on where you think I should shut off the N20 and then what RPM I should shift at.

Thanks!

You want to shift IN your window. Not out of it. You will lose ET if you come off the nitrous then shift.

When I ran nitrous I windowed at 3200 and 6800 and set my shift light for 6500

Remember as soon as you lift to shift the nitrous shuts off. And if you blow a shift, well that's what the window switch is there for as well.

I was just trying to stay conservative since it's all stock internals. No dyno sheet yet but that is coming soon. I was just trying to figure out where I should set my window switch at since I will install that this weekend.

Ok so I'm low with my numbers here which makes me glad I asked for advice. Maybe 3000 on and 6600 off for the window switch. I don't have a shift light but if I shift right at 6500 that probably means I'm actually shifting at 6600-6700.

Thanks for the input guys, I really appreciate it.
