I don't have a lot of money left to pick up a whole bunch of suspension mods all at once, so I was wondering where should I start.

I was thinking that getting some 17x10 wheels and drag radials should be first. Right now the car has a brand new set of 235-55-17 Nexen 500 tires all the way around and they are absolutly no match at all for the power(even though it isn't that much power).

It hasn't been real warm around here lately and haven't heated the tires up much looking for traction, so I don't know if these stock size tires may give some traction if I were to start with say lca's and relo brackets or something like that.

Just wanting to hear what ya think

Not at the track yet. . . .just on the street right now. Doing burnouts can be fun but once in awhile it is nice to make it hook.

some people drive with drag radials on the street full time, if that fits you then i would go with M&H or Mickey's. Dont get caught in the rain with them though. I would do the LCA and Relo brackets as well. Do those together and you will love it. But if i have a choice one over the other i would do the better tires first(IMO)

If you do the LCA's first then it will be better no doubt but then again the tires are not able to handle your power and will still suck ass. this is all just my 2cents

Thanks for your opinion. This car doesn't see rain and only comes out on the weekends if it is nice out. The wear on tires doesn't really bother me that much because it wont get very many miles on it anyway so if I get a year out of a set that is fine by me.

I would think that these two things would help the most

Or is there a different tire better suited for the street with good traction to fit the 17x10s that is still as tall as the 235-55-17s

Then will pick up the lcas soon after. How important are the relo brackets if my car isn't lowered.

car is not lowered and don't "think" i will

found some 275-50s that i think i might get. They are about .6" larger in diameter than stock size and should fit decently on the stock wheels.

How much difference does the uca make? You see almost everyone with lcas but don't hear much about the upper

In my case lca's helped but the car still hopped. Once the uca was in all hop stopped.

thanks bruce. I had terrible wheel hop when the car was stock, but since the turbo install there has been no more wheel hop. I know that this was do to the tires not being able to grab any traction at all. I was afraid that if I got better tires that the wheel hop would return that is why I would really like to get tires and control arms at the same time.

I have LCA's and Relos all from BMR and the damn car still spins the tires. Its because of the tires. You need good tires if you want to hook. PERIOD.

Stickier tires for sure, but you really want to do the LCA's at the same time. If you are not lowered, you don't need the relocation brackets. If you lower the car later, it's not hard to install the relo brackets then. Just be sure to weld them in when/if you do it.

Upper 3rd link and LCA's from whatever company fits your budget will be an upgrade. If you do ever plan to lower the car, get an adjustable upper 3rd so you don't get stuck without being able to adjust pinion angle (buy the right part once)

Suspension will not overcome crap tires though, invest in a good set!
