I agree on the RT615s. They are doing well in autox. Plus 295/40R18 is a good size and fits nicely on a 10" wheel.
The Ventus V12, FK510, S007, Conti ECS are all going to be down noticably on dry traction compared to the RT615s. I'm currently running the S007 as my daily tire because I had some long road trips and wanted a rain capable tire. But they are down on dry traction. I just bought my kid the Conti ECS for his 350Z and they are also suprisingly good, better than his prior Nitto NT05's, for everything, wet, dry, treadwear. Nitto really does kinda suck.
But now that I know the 615s come in probably the perfect size for you. I would go with that. Why have a 500hp motor and 300hp tires? Skimping on tires degrades the whole cars performance.
If you want to play car games expect to spend money on tires, brakes and gas. I know its easy to spend other peoples money, but if you want traction, it does cost a little.
