Whipple time!

Wow, surprised about that small pulley. Mine came with a 3.5 pulley and made just over 10 psi (though when I got my kit, it was only rated at 500 flywheel).

So anybody remember the damn heater hose im talking about it? it lays over the passenger side fuel rail.

I know the hose you're talking about, but I'm not 100% sure how it connected. I believe mine came with a fitting to plug it into the OEM one.. I'll look back through the install pics (some in my gallery in the sig) and see if I can find a pic of it.

I found a pic of it.. sorta. It's already installed in this pic though.

I believe it's just a male/male connector so you can plug the OEM heat hose into the Whipple supplied one using two hose clamps.

Thanks, there is only one connector like that left and i think its for the heat exchanger, im going to go through installing that and then see what im left with. Might need to go buy one.

I found one! It came pre installed in my hose, but you can see the end that fits into the OEM hose.

I run 4.10s with my Whipple. I runb a 28" tire on the street and track. i would recommend a DR for the street.

Everything is done, just wiring stuff now and about to put the intake on. I dont have a start up tune yet, waiting for Justin at VMP tuning to send me a limp tune. He said ill be fine with the 12 psi pulley, just pull some timing, but he did recommend the 10 from a tuning perspective.

Do yourself a favor and skip the 555Rs for the street and go straight to MT's ET Street ll's.. Dont make the mistake i made from the start. Ill be dumping my 305 555Rs as soon as my MT 305s come in,

I just got som nitto NT-01s for the rear a couple days ago and it makes a huge difference. It hooks very well now. With the 4.10s and my old yokohamas I couldn't get shit for traction. Tires will help is my point. I ramble. Lol.

Your switched the two. The one with the bulge goes at the throttle body and the flat one goes at the filter end of the intake tube. Nice band aid.

^ I just realized that before i read your post hahaha. I blame my friend, he put the big one on the filter and i just went with it. Now my thumb is wrecked for no reason. Oh well if that was the only thing I did wrong ill take it !!

+1... don't get the 555R. In addition to the M/Ts, M&Hs would be a great choice, too. That's what I have been running for years now. A couple others that might be worth a try on the street are the new Goodyears and Nitto NT05R.
