Who has the Ford GT front wheels ??

The price is right but I wonder what the weight is? I just put on my take off GT500 wheels and tires and they are 8 and 10# heavier than the stock 17" GT wheels!!!!
So I just slowed my car down a freaking .10 ....
Stock 17s with tires are 50# even and the gt500 rears are 60# and the fronts are #58.

Ford Racing says shipping weight is 30 pounds. So, a pound or two for the box and there you have it. A 28 pound wheel. Typical 18" street tires in a 255 are about 27-30 lbs as well. Race tires will be lighter. 55-60 pounds for each 18 tire/wheel combo sounds about right.

Another plus is these 18 inch wheels will clear 14 inch brakes no prob

Yes they will. GT500 and Saleen.

Not sure of the weight of the rims. But when i got the 18x10 GT4 rims i was shocked at how light they were. When i took them to get mounted and balanced the guy at treadquarters also mentioned that the wheels were very light and he was suprised for the size of the rim.
I got a flat in one of my nitto dr's so when the new tire comes i will weigh it and then weigh the one thats mounted and subtract the weight of the tire to find the rim weight and post up what i find.

The BBS wheels are 19-20lbs for the 18x9. When i spoke to americanmuscle they said there 18x9 GT4 are 25lbs. 25lbs isnt light for that size wheel. Again, I actually have the BBS wheels on my car and they where 48-49lbs with tires. I have 20X9 shelby razors that weight 29.5lbs on my scale and with tires they where 59.5lbs.

Where did you get the wheels? I'm guessing you didnt pay the $900 each price tag Ford Racing wants.
#48 would be perfect with the big brakes!!
