Anyone that would put a (literally) $100 turbo on their vehicle is quite possibly insane.

Knowing 'Towelly' he isn't recommending their shit turbo or even some of the shit parts but it's a great starting point. With the savings it's easy to upgrade.

What Nasty said.... I would buy a On3 kit, ditch the intercooler, BOV, Wastegate and turbo and STILL save about $2k over a Hellion build. That would be including supporting mod's. Its at about $6k to get into a Hellion kit with everything required to get you running. I am hopefully going to be putting this to the test very soon.

I have my own opinion, but I'm enjoying the banter so I'll just add some fuel to the fire. Urist doesn't run a blower because of rules advantages. The turbos make a ton more power in SSO. Tuten ran like 208 mph I believe. Whatever the exact # was, it was around 5 mph faster than Urist has gone. So the turbos are making more power.

Urist has been sponsored by Procharger for many years .
The Supercharged car will be more consistant as far as off the line then a Turbo Car will . Especially when your going off a Pro Tree.
Turbo's will go faster but you better not be late on the tree or your done.

See Turbo Pete's post. Another example would be Mark Martin runs a Chevy in NASCAR but owns a Ford dealership. Happens all the time in motorsports. Racers run whatever pays the bills.

Ok. You asked for it. Keep in mind that Tuten's combo comes in at 2900 while Urist got a gift in the weight department over the winter and now has to weigh 3100 instead of 3150.

Bradenton: Tuten - 201 (turbo)
Urist - 192 (ProCharger)

Atlanta: Tuten - 203 (turbo)
Kolivas - 208 (turbo) but he's the MPH Master anyway
Urist - 200 (ProCharger)

Atco: Tuten - 198 (turbo)
Urist - 203 (ProCharger)

Like Chris said, with Urist backhalf, if/when he figures out the front half, will be 6.99-7.04. bet on it!

Urist is typically going 1.24-1.26 in the 60' clocks while Johnny Mac (another ProCharger car) has routinely been 1.16-1.18. Everyone knows what Jon is doing and the NMRA is just along for the ride because Urist is their Golden Boy.

And for some people who don't know what SSO means, SUPER STREET OUTLAW. and one of the baddest class out there IMO

And with this buying a On3 kit over a hellion. your paying for what you get. If you want a good setup with upgrades, fitment, ect, then hellion kits destroy everything else. The problem I'm seeing here is people don't want to spend the money on good stuff. I will take a hellion system with all ad ons over any other kit out there. Plus, hellion is made in American. Enough said there. On3 is a cheap knock off kit which is copied off the hellion system using a cheaper Japanese turbo components. Only way to make them better, is upgrading the turbo.
