LOL and it lasts ALL day long. The wind has been above 30+ knots for the past week and I don't want to screw up my hood struts. Already had one bad experience with the wind and hood struts here. I can't get the fender off with all this rain just because I don't want everything getting soaking wet.

BTW I don't think it's been discussed. How did ya'll alter the bracket for the ECM to hold it up properly to the fender?

Also the thicker wires for the headlight harness, those are 14 gauge right?

Just remember the higher the number on the wire ,means the wire will be smaller in dia. example 14 awg wire is smaller than a 12 awg wire...
Hopefully this info will help you out..

it's been i while since i did mine, but iirc, you have to trim a piece off the bracket for it to mount flush.

Alright, I believe I just ordered the rest of the stuff for this project.

20 AWG Wire
18 AWG Wire
14 AWG Wire
Butt Connectors for 14 AWG Wire
Wire Stripper

Already had the Moroso box and battery cables. Looking forward to this!

I will pickup some heat shrinking at the local auto store and a new solder iron

i just used the larger size wire pretty much for everything. no butt splices were used, everything soldered. there's a couple of main power wires that are too large to solder with the iron, so i used the pencil tip torch i have and sweated them together with an open flame.

just as a reminder, double check that all the fuses and relays in the BEC are pushed back into place when you're done. it can save you some head scratching when it comes time to start the car.

Is it fairly easy to figure out what gauge each wire is?

Going to bring the car home and do this in my garage so I can do it little at a time at night.

Now gotta pick up a new soldering iron and some jack stands for the front.

Very easy. I had one if those cutters that had the size chart on it too. I pretty much only used 18 gauge wiring for the extending other than the three 12 gauge wires.
