^Harbor Freight right? I've wondered about the quality of their jacks.

Yep. I've had it for about 9 months now. If you're patient and wait for them to be on sale you can pick one up for less than $100. Only jack I've been able to find that fits under my car without driving onto something first. Easier to use than my craftsman jack too. The knob for lowering is a better setup than having to turn the handle.

My "test" jack pad for Mustangs showed up today. Not had time to test it with a jack, but I was able to test fit it in the front jack point and it does seems to fit. I will try it with a jack later this week.

Some pretty cool stuff in this thread. Might have to look into a couple of the adapters.

I'm sure I'm doing it wrong, but I just use a piece of wood that fits perfectly on the inside of the lip. Jack it up just long enough to get stands underneath and take the weight off.

BTW, a street hockey puck (orange) is pretty soft compared to an ice hockey puck making the orange one the better on to use, imho.

I got my set for my '10 in the mail today. Haven't tried them yet. They are nice pieces. I may have to get ahold of him and see about swapping for the Roush skirt ones, as I'm ordering my RTR/Roush splitters tomorrow... He said something in the other forum about the regular ones hit the push pins.

I'll stick to the two jack method. I just use the harbor freight one to get the car high enought to get my 3 ton craftsman under it.

I'll stick to the one jack and jack stands method. Fuck getting under a car with only jacks holding it up!!!!

I've been looking at these for a while. Looks like he redesigned his website since last time I wandered over there, also looks like the product is nicer than before. I really need ot pull the trigger on these (or maybe push Santa a little).

In evolution it is called convergent evolution. It happens in engineering and even inventions all the time. But it is really obvious if you look at cars today. Almost every car in a particular price range has way more in common than they have different. Why because the manufacturer has a set of criteria, some he sets, some the customer sets and some the government sets [usually to our detriment]. Two parts created to function the same will often look the same for no other reason then it was the logical engineered answer to the requirements. If you can't understand this you aren't qualified to comment on whether something is a copy or not.
