Ok. Hope to be driving home in my new (to me) 2007 very first mustang tomorrow at mid life crisis years old.

just thinking about those times when I need some peace instead of rumble so
I think my exhaust set up goals will be xpipe w/ cut outs and mufflers(stock is ok) .

What set up do you guys recommend for an old guy who likes occasional noise.
I think I would like to reuse the stock mufflers if possible. Gutting cats is optional at this time. Thanks!

I would get some fender headers and run a straight pipe out from just behind the front wheel. Put a little swivel on the end of the pipe. When you want it to roar, point the tip up and back. When you want it quieter you just have to angle the tips down toward the road and slightly forward.

I thought that only worked on twin turbo cars. I've been away far too long.
