this reminded me of what I believe is the largest car engine ever produced, the 1911 Fiat S76 "the beast of turin" has a 28.4 liter 4 cylinder, each cylinder is the size of a big block...
you can literally see chunks of metal come out... how cool is that...

This '69 Camaro at the Motorama only had one supercharger, but it also had twin turbos.

I've seen a couple built motors like that recently with the supercharger/twin turbo setup, makes me wonder if that will be a new norm for big blown engines like that....

The blower becomes a bottle neck if the turbos are sized right.

Y'all member when Dub Step Step was asking about "twin charging'? Member?!

One has to wonder if they've ever been run.

I remember the Darryl Starbird shows of the early '70s, engines would often just be shells. No pistons/rods/valve train.

Not my cup of tea either, but you still have to admire the level of craftsmanship involved.

If one where to sculpt a turd into the Mona Lisa of turds, it would still be a turd at the end of the day.

I admire craftsmanship when the end result actually does something useful or cool. These cars appear to be neither. Now if video of them being driven for real (not just to/from a trailer) or making passes at the dragstrip shows up I will be impressed.

Till then, they get 5 solid MEH's on a MEH scale of 1 to 5.
