87 Mustang GT vert. It had roughly 30k miles on it when it through a rod. My dad helped me with the rebuild. We did a 347 stroker, GT40 heads and intake, E303 cam, had the world class t5 rebuilt by Mike Murillo @ Texas Jam with a Pro 5.0 shifter, and had them install a set of 4.56 gears. I owned it for 7 years before i was rear ended. I had it fixed at an insurance trusted body shop, the day i brought it home from the shop it was stolen. They found it 3 months later stripped and burnt.

My first Mustang was a 69 Mach 1, got it in 72. The owner of the car took the engine and trans out and disassemble them. He could not put it back together so he let the bank repossess it, and the bank sold it to me for $300.00. and i had to go and pick it up.

Bought it when I turned 16 and kept it for 4 years and regret selling it to this day. Sold it to fund a 95 GT I had bought. The interior WAS mint.

1986 Jalapeno Red 5.0L LX- sorry no pics

Car had t-tops that leaked, woodgrain interior, a c-4 auto, and was a complete pile...but it started the addiction. I've always had a mustang since.

Car STILL has the OEM aluminum drums on it...built in fall of 1978, could be the oldest FOX in existence?? I dunno...

not my first stang but it's one of my favorites. 93 5.0 coupe 5sp bone stock except flowmasters and rims.
Love the way this car looks! My parents had a 91 5.0 LX like this it was really nice. I was like 5 when they had it but the hell if I don't remember that thing!

Some people always believed that they just gave me the car and I am spoiled... nothing pisses me off more. I work 3 jobs, and own my own boutique company. I pay the monthly payments and majority of the insurance. I worked hard to get what I wanted and I appreciate you seeing that.

I agree with you, as I was in that same situation at your age. My dad worked for Ford Credit as a Branch Manager, I've got new cars every 6mo-1yr since I was 16 (mostly mustangs), I have paid the payments on every damn one of them. Every time I got a Mustang someone would always say something like daddys got a nice mustang, or did your daddy buy that for you, God that pissed me off and got me into a lot of fights. Good work to you sir, keep it up that hard work and fuck those people that want to hate!

^ hell ya dude I feel you on that! The only reason my parents bought me a bad ass mustang is because I had several D1 offers for football outta HS so I got that grey GT like above with like 3 months to go of my senior year. Now the only reason I had the money to buy a blower is because I went with my uncle to a World Poker Tournament and before the tourney started he said "you can have 1% of my winnings for being my wingman" and he won first which was 1,000,000 hahaha so I got 10Gs!!! That was my only spoiled moment

im pretty much in the same boat as you guys here

when i was 10 years old i saw a mustang for the first time and the first time i sat in one was an '04 orange and black gt, my friends dad gave me a ride in it and damn i fell in love with that car. Got home, told my mom i wanted a mustang when i got older and she said ok earn it. so i started helping with the family business at 10 years old, doing community services, charitys, got 2 jobs at 16 and 3rd when i turned 18. when i turned 19 my parents and i went car hunting because i had gotten into an accident the year prior and i needed transportation (drunk driver hit me from the side when he ran a red light going 65 in a 35 zone, totaled the SUV) then i got my first mustang. paid the downpayment and now im 20 years old, ive only had my first mustang a little over a year but ive paid every penny on the monthly and insurance bills, plus gas and mods of course. sure its a V6, but hey, its my first mustang and the budget didnt allow for a V8 and i love my car.

and it pisses me off too when people see my car and go "man you must have rich parents.." or "how much did daddy pay for that" i simply tell them to fuck off because i know i paid every penny out of my hard earned money for it.

This is my first mustang. Family has been selling Ford's since 1973 and I always wanted a Mustang. Finally was able to get one (with help) in December 2009 - Got the car Christmas morning. It was my dream car - a 2009 Black Bullitt Mustang. Man, I love thinking about the day I got it.

Just like me.. I'm only 22 and my Bullitt is my first Mustang too.

I remember picking it up, I came on a trip to Dallas once I knew I was moving. I'd been scouting for a Bullitt online and there was one out near the airport. I flew in, went home, showered and grabbed some food, then we took a friend to drop them at the airport and went to look at the Bullitt after that. Signed for it that night after less than 12 hours in the country.
