If I have an adjustable wrench, I have no idea where it is. IMHO if you are going to "turn wrenches" on a car, you should have a good set of actual wrenches. You have a nice car; buy yourself a nice set of basic tools to take care of it.

Some pretty cool stuff in this thread. Might have to look into a couple of the adapters. I'm sure I'm doing it wrong, but I just use a piece of wood that fits perfectly on the inside of the lip. Jack it up just long enough to get stands underneath and take the weight off.

Well I'll be turning TC off on the weekends moving forward. Ever since I tuned mine the tires break loose with very little effort. Thanks for the info!

I don't think this has been covered yet, I could be wrong. How does the shifter play with the 1st to 4th forced shift? I want to pull the module while I'm installing the shifter, but if there are good solid reasons why I shouldn't, then I'll leave it and continue to hate it.

I will most likely keep the MT-82 until the warranty is up and then swap the tranny out. In the meantime, I'm going to want one of these shifters. :)

My understanding is that both the 2011 and 2012 V6 and GT use the MT82 manual transmission. If that's the case, then I see no reason why the shifter shouldn't work on the V6.

Nope. I started it out in 1st, pulled pretty good through the turn (wasn't a sharp turn), and as I straightened out coming out of the turn and put it into 2nd it happened.
