Did a little burnout tonight at Oakboro (a local cruise in that lets people do burnouts)... I was behind a nice sound black Z06... I couldn't let him show me up....:hungry:

Video Here

I turned the stock set of P-Zeros on the (5000 Miles on them) into slicks! :drive: :drive:

Now to get a new set of tires... And hopefully get all that rubber cleaned off....

Yea it was.... I don't think that my clutch liked it though. It still reaks... Gonna let it cool overnight and take it for a ride in the morning, hopefully its ok as I just put it in 2 months ago.....

Remember PMP == QUALITY

Yea they got a good testing last night. I got my wheel speed well up over 100mph during that burnout and they held good for that ~45 seconds. I was gonna go longer, but after I stopped and looked at my wheels I was glad I stopped when I did. They wear bars are 1/8" above where my rubber is on my tires LOL.....

Me and my buddy that was in the car with me, rode off from the burnout area and up the street with our windows down.... when we opened the doors when I parked I felt like Cheech and Chong from all the smoke rolling out of the car LOL. :rock:

I know how you feel..

When I did the NMRA burnout, they only let you go for 30 seconds.. So I just set the line Lock and Started the burnout in 3rd gear.. Nothing like seeing 100+ mph on the speedo for 30 seconds. The tires were brand new 275/40Z17 ASX's and when I was done there was no tread pattern left on the tires.. But it was a blast.

LOL. Well I was already talking about going and getting my new rims/tires on Monday anyway..... But If I have to put a clutch in thats gonna put a little bit of a damper on that now....
