I love my coyote, but it ain't close to being exotic and most likely never will be.

a line on a chart. not the car. a coyote can make as much or more power with bolt ons.

which one is that?

2009-present 3.800 liter 450 hp water-cooled flat-6 (VarioCam) (911 997 facelift GT3 RS)

woohoo my 2011GT makes more power than a porshe GT3. for a lot less money. i could care less how many cylinders it has. its weaker than my 32900 car.

you just compared a v6 to a v8 that also has 1.0 less liters. As for v8's, there's also the 392 challenger making 470 crank hp and its no exotic. I also forgot to mention all the chevy LS variants making gobs of HP NA. Our coyote engines are great, but special, they are not.

^^^^ that and the super cars their power to weigh ratio is way superior to any mustang and the aerodynamics blows a mustang away as well. Also damn near all super cars run 200mph which is really hard to do in our bricks.

Small problem with that, my near stock 2011 Automatic outran the Gallardo that was at the Texas Mile back in March. Ultimately at a longer distance would he have covered me, sure. But not being able to do it in a full mile is just not impressive at all at that price point.

Even so, 90% would go for a Gallardo over your '11 run-of-the-mill Mustang. Come on guys you guys are sounding like those ricer in the honda/cobalt/slowmaro/sentra etc. forums saying "My 4cyl. with turbo and fully built engine can destroy your intake and exhaust 3V GT."

Plus I bet the Ferraris and Lambo's don't have a piston #8 problem, lol.

Edit: Damn rford426, you beat me on the #8 piston joke.

Yeah with a tune but wtf is the point in having a stock mustang? I mean cmon...Its just the fact that the 5.0s are blowing up with such little mods is what amazes me really...A car that isn't a year old taking a shit on you already...Food For thought.

You missed the point completely. They're blowing up because the tunes are bad, not just because they have a tune. There are tons of 5.0's running fine with good tunes.

I think there is more to it than a bad tune. No one even knows what it is 100%. All we know is the cars that have blown had tunes. Also from some of the "best" tuners we know of are having problems so hard to say its just a bad tune. Many have said faulty ringlands.

Im not missing anything either haha no one wiht money would pic a fucking 11 5.BLOW over a fucking exotic. Especially when the 5.blows are fucking melting #8 specifically.

IF it wasn't #8 everytime i would say it is shitty tuners not knowing what there doing. either way the new coyotes are failing left and right. In front of you and behind you. Yours could be next

LOL, aren't you Mr. Exaggeration. Oh wait, I'm sorry. I forgot you just blew your engine not to long ago. Perhaps that's where all the anger is coming from?
