I hate 99.8% of mustang owners. The mustangs themselves, they're allright.

The damn slit in the rubber under the e-brake. It's right by the cup holders and center console so about every 6 months or so my Ipod falls down it and its a bitch to retrieve it.

mustang prob

-The powertrain...but I fixed that.
-From the first time I got the car, I always thought the shifter was too far forward. I guess my legs are longer than my arms, because I have to sit almost all the way back and it's about a mile between the back of my seat and the shifter and steering wheel.
-The stoopid gas tank problem!
-Useless cup holders..
-The placement of the mufflers in relation to the rest of the exhaust system! Mid-mufflers seem to be the way to go with these cars, IMO.
-No washer nozzles on the wipers...

wow just read your sig

Other car guys usually wave at each other. Motorcycle guys do the 'wave' as well. Most other Mustang owners i've crossed paths with either dont look at you or just rev their engine and try to race. Some are cool but most are assclowns.

If im with my roommate we usually wave at Corvette people... its fun and brings back memories. And im sure it makes them feel awkward.

Ideally I wanted to bend the hangers a little, but I'm NOT taking those things back off as they were a total bitch to get on. That and I don't have access to a torch so there's no way to heat the hanger. I hadn't though about the rubber mallet idea. Where did you strike?

I'm so used to the cup holder problem by now. They've been in the same spot forever. Fortunately, I have a trunk release button inside the car. :D

When my exhaust wasn't sitting right I just bolted it all up, set it in place, and hung like a monkey on the pipes until the hangers all bent to where they need to be. They aren't that strong and I'm not a giant dude. 6'3, 180 lbs.

Unfortunately they needed to bend UP, not down. My passenger side tip was pointing too low. It's much better now. We'll see if the leaks come back.

Bench press the ass end lol. I hate messing with my tips. I've got the stock mufflers on my set up and I've kinda given up with them. If its not one thing, its another. Looking to do a mid-muffler set up soon so hopefully that clears it all up.

The factory speakers suck ass, they sound distorted. Also, my hood shakes at about 80 mph.

1) It weighs a ton

Closer to two. ;)

I don't "hate" anything. There could be improvements, though like...

A 6-speed (or a 5-speed with a higher OD)
A radio where the paint doesn't peel off the memory buttons
A seat where the seatback is electric, too - really, who needs fricking electric front and back anyway? It takes forever to slide up when I want to vacuum.

That's all I can think of for now.

My only dislike about my car is the rear seat head rest. if they are up you cant see anything out of rear view mirror. So i leave them down all the time. Like everything else about the car.

I would have to pull out the rear seat headrests. It's not like you're ever going to have full size humans in the back seats.

A lot of the stuff you '05-'09 guys are complaining about have been "fixed" in the newer Mustangs.

- cup holders
- trunk release or lack there pf
- miniature door pockets, I mean WTF? you cant even fit napkins in there!
- heavy A$$ car yet flimsy door skin, my camera can't get a steady video on them because they rattle so much
- hood shake over 80
- My rearview mirror looks like a giant vibrator when over 100mph, WTF? I like it tho cause it reminds me to slow down.
- cheap leather seats
- 5th gear OD
- My gf looks like a child in the passenger seat and cant see over the dash, that makes her car sick-ness great, esp the way I drive.
- cheap paint, it's bubbling on the leading edge of the hood, and chipped all away in the crack between the rear window!
- angle of approach sucks! Mine isn't lowered that much but I scrape on everything.

Ok I feel better, enough ranting for now...

Ok I lied.

- Cheap radio button paint, of all the buttons wore off, it's the am/fm one, I only use my aux!
- why did only the GT500 get a rt sided tach, they need to be switched.
- Damn tiny fuel tank, It feels like I fill up almost every other day!

I'm not sure what type of exhaust you have, but the MAC exhaust has the tips connect to the muffler. So when the tips were not lined up correctly, the mufflers was also not lined up correctly. So i gently hit (while on a lift) the side of the muffler with a rubber hammer, not the tips.
