JLT 3 vs C&L Racer

Hi, have anyone compare the new JLT 3 vs the C&L racer, because i'm looking for the best one for a new project i'm building with 3v stroker (302 .20 over) 11.1 CR ported heads, cams 232-243 duration .050 and 550-525 lift 112 lobe separation, long tube headers, imrc delete etc

I havent compared them but imo the JLT is a nicer piece. I had one for a short period of time and loved it.

i have the new jlt and am very impressed with it, cant say anything about cl but they know what they are doing. honestly i dont think you cant go wrong with either one but i believe the jlt is cheaper.

Go with the Series 3 - I'm N/A as well and picked up a mph in the quarter from the C & L Racer (116 mph from 115 mph). Also from the C & L I think I picked up 8 or 10 rwhp back to back testing on the same day within an hour of each other.

I can't see how it would melt, my c&L racer hasn't melted lol
I'm sure they are made out of the same stuff.

C&L Street is metal C&L Racer is plastic...Either way even when I ran the C&L Racer it never showed a hint of melting/scorching; any pics of the melty JLT piece?

as soon as I dig it out of the junk parts box I have in the garage

Hmm, yeah i am being told i need to purchase the JLT asap to get some tuning issues resolved. I am def. curious on this melting issue, although i have only heard of one person having it melt on them

You make it sound like they are all going to melt though.
Another example of one thing happening once and people claiming it's mass spread. :clap:
