The 88mm is only for him as an upgrade because he wants 1400-1500hp. Base, and first upgrade will be smaller than that.
A good single is going to cost about the same as good twins. Maybe even more depending on the single and brand. The gates you will save a little. People usually think more because of two, but not really much of a difference honestly.
This will be an interesting kit. Some things people are not used to seeing on a street car that will have great benefits. I'm going to make it very hard to keep up.

well from my standpoint i see myself saving because i do not want to fabricate a manifold, i want to use the stock manifolds, and not doing that would mean mounting the twins in a lower position and more money would be put into the oil system in order for it to return properly, vs the single where i can feed it and let it drain into the pan on its own being mounted up top

i know i could mount the twins up top but it seems like alot of piping to use stock manifolds and run it to the front and then back for twins.

im also not going to be using a very expensive turbo
probably a mp76 im not looking to break any records, just to make aroung 800 hp

custom hot and cold sides
intercooler is undecided
72lb injectors
triple hat fuel system

im mainly throwing my ideas around on here to get guidance before i order parts, i loved my single turbo 06 lol

i need my car to be really fast on the street with the mt6
we mainly do 30 rolls but i need to be able to tear out of the hole at the track too
93 octane is all we have also :(
but thats all anyone else has here either so its fair competition lol

The low mounted twins idea is a bad one I think. I have had more than one person call me complaining about having to have people get out of the car when going over speed bumps on lowered cars. That MP T76 will work only work if you do 30-70 rolls, no joke. It will choke out probably before 10 psi. Realistically 5-6 psi. Mark my words, anyone using turbines that small will be looking for new turbo after a few pull and trying to figure out why they can't break into the 600rwhp range. Already one company trying to figure out what went wrong. People are modifying steering shafts trying to get around things. There's all kinds of crazy shit going on.

Backlash was measured and rear end was taken apart to get ready. Needs bracing, solid pinion spacer, 9in ends, etc. Started on the ice and gas tank as well.

what a build up!!.... Very nice work so far. Its nice working on a brand new car huh? No rusty bolts, no dirt falling in your face while under it, no greasy mess.. etc.. lol

Nasty, you're going to need a 75mm minimum for 600rwhp. If you build a decent kit you could stretch the turbine as 900rwhp. Back pressure will be up there for sure, but think it's possible. Close to 2-1 at 14 psi probably

Maaaaaaaan, going from mostly 60's cars to this. It's a dream come true lol. Best of all it hasn't been hacked by someone else yet. That's a real problem with classics.

Built them on a customers car a while back during a header install
