A few people here have fabbed up their own pretty easily. I plan to do it sometime this summer. Maybe they will chime in and give you some insight.

I have one on my 2200 and i am very happy with it. As for how much boost you will gain I can't say because I never ran the blower with the stock inlet. There are plenty of guys who have also made something similar, and I am sure they work very well and probably cost less. In my opinion most don't look as nice, nor have they included in their cost building a heat shield like the AFM piece comes with. At the end of the day either will work fine and should be an improvement over the stock inlet.

That works really well in a blow-through setup.
I fabbed one up for my Vortech when I had it. Seemed to make a small but measurable (improved) difference in air flow at WOT. Not enough of a difference to require retuning, but at the track, I would run it all the time.

Alright guys thx for the help! I have another question I have a stock motor and im getting my car tuned again and my tuner reccomended me getting the pipe and switching to a 8 lb pulley to spin the blower less and bring in more fresh air to keep the blower cooler. So it will run more efficient but I dont wanna spend money on a intake and pulley if its not gunna help me. also im relocating the iat right before the tb does this help with more accurate tuning? Will I benefit from it! Thx

Relocating the MAF/IAT right before the TB (blow thru) will make for more accurate tuning for sure. But as for buying another pulley and anderson pipe, I personally wouldn't waste the money. With low boost on a stock motor you are nowhere near pushing this blower out of its "efficiency" range. If anything I would relocate the maf before the TB and make your own blower inlet AKA power pipe and get a safe tune. I believe Greg Hazlett cut the original plastic S inlet pipe to make a "straight power pipe" himself with success (free) allowing maf relocation. Just my opinion though.
And to be honest, if you are not looking into building and making big power, what's the point of going blow thru at this time? Or are you having tuning issues?
I got my car tuned at a shop and he only did 3 pulls and sent me down the road and wasnt happy. So im going to another shop that will spend a few hours on my car and do it right. But I bought the kit used and never thought of it but there was something already tapped in the pipe and I didnt have a plug to plug into it so I did some research and bbr makes a relocation kit so why not get more accurate readings when I get it tuned right? Also my tune currently in the car has a/f 9.5 to 10.5 from 3500 to about 5k which is way too rich and I think the car will run better with a good tune.

Ahhhh, now I understand. I just couldn't imagine dropping hundreds of bucks on a pulley and Anderson power pipe and not even feel a difference, heck you might even lose a little power. But considering your tune is all jacked up and your going to retune, blow thru is a great option. But i will say that a good tuner can tune it draw thru just fine. Mine is spot on and I am running the stock paxton stuff. If/when I build a motor and raise the power levels I will go blow thru with a custom power pipe.
If you are going to take it to a good tuner it may be best to set it up with the way he is most comfortable though. So I guess all in all, it's up to you.

And you can switch to blow thru, run the rigged/custom/free pipe and leave the pulley alone and see where that puts you with a good conservative tune. I honestly could only imagine a 1psi increase. if that, with a power pipe on a stock motor and 10psi pulley. Just back out timing a few degrees and you can be fine.

The stock inlet S pipe is so restrictive once you get a 4" pipe in there!

Yeah, how much boost did you gain from the swap? What PSi where you running? or do you even remember.... that was a lot of configurations ago. haha

Never did a back to back really, always lots of things changin at once. It did help him make 600rwhp at 12-13psi. but so did heads and cams lol.
So true...and I did a pulley swap at the same time.

LOL, kinda figured some mental data was lost throughout the many combos.
Thx everyone for the help! And I didnt wanna waste my money! So since the iat was already tapped why not use it, it will only help me not hurt me! If the pipe increases boost then I wont do it because Ive had awesome luck with motor and dont wanna risk it!
