well, im waiting to see if my car gets running. should be in the next few weeks but at this point about half assuming the motor/ tranny is gonna blow just because thats the way stuff goes. if it does i may be forced to buy the '13. In the mean time if anyone wants to make an offer on my car feel free to lol

That is a steal for what you get with the GT500. I priced one how I would get it and it was 62k. Looks like I need to get bills in order and get one in a year or two.

The price of the GT500 is really impressive. That's going to be THE FASTEST and best performing car for under 75k easily. definitely the fastest under 60.
I also found it really interesting how you can get a base model gt, with brembo package, recaros, 3.73, as well as sync. You can have a track ready gt with sync (something I couldn't get on my base model gt a few years back) for 35k. While still a bit high for a regular mustang, I am willing to bet that car would run low 12s and keep up with a boss.

That was my prediction as well. I think $54K is a bargain. I just built one online how I'd like it, and it was $66k fully loaded (except convert).

I don't think any of those dealers actually have them yet. I think what it's showing are the ones on order to those dealers. It shows we have a black '13 GT, and we definitely do not.
Production only started 3 weeks ago. I can't see them being on dealer lots for another month or so.

WTF!? The 2013 GT500 at the auto show a while back was grabber blue with black stripes but Ford's site will not let me choose that. BAH! That's a really cool combo.
They also will not allow Black with grabber blue stripes (love this combo). Damn it.
But, That Red Candy looks pretty sweet.
