I will have to add my responce to any thread containing rpm outlet. FUCK RPM OUTLET!!! As far as Im concerned rpm and mmr should both move to remote island and suck each other off!

So whats the general consensus on the 17 weld draglites for our s197s? Will they hook on a 500hp car? Can you use them to daily drive? Any support modification needed to run them? Will they look good?

I might be getting the 17 draglites and run a really wide M&H DR... They will hook at 500 and even more.... I've seen cars with 700hp hooking with DRs

the only downfall is the lack of 17" tire sizes compared to a 15" but shit at this rate they will move straight to the new body styles and forget about these lol i mean come on really 4 years and they cant take 1 f'in measurement ? im no rocket scientist but fuck i think i could even get it right after this long

I thought the Bogarts were expensive until I looked at the 17" Welds. Is there anyone running these? I have pretty good luck with 17" ET Streets with my best 60ft being a 1.65 but it is normally in the 1.67-1.69 range.

The 15" Welds are $425 for the rear and I think $585 for 17" front. I really like how they look but man the cost alot.

I talked to Mike again on Wednesday Sept 24/08.
It sounds like they are working on the 17" rims getting them out as they have been on back order for along time, & they have a huge back order for them.He told me to call him next week & he would have some info on the 15" rims, maybe even a part #!!!
I will call him Oct 1/08,you can be sure of that.

Well, it's October 6th. You assured us you would call on October 1st. What's the good word?

that the word assured contains the word sure in it

^^^exactly what he said^^^

You answered the inquery by saying that you in fact did call them back (right before you said you didn't assure anyone that you would call them back)

Easy fix, bogarts in the rear billet lites in the rear and weld drag lites on the fronts with a 3/4 in spacer. Ive been driving on the street for about 15k miles with Bogarts on the rears and no problems at all. The front bogarts will blow out though.

I talked to Mike on Tuesday. He said the 15" rear wheels were NOT going to fit. The front wheels have been revised to fit but we will have to have smaller brakes on the back. That sucks a fat dick. Fuck this garbage I'm going with 17's.
I've already talked to them recently. Look above ^^^^^^^He said the 15's are NOT GOING TO FIT! Unless maybe he doesn't know what he is talking about.

depends on who you talk to there. Some dont know anything about the 15's

You would think a wheel company would come up with something less expensive than holeshot and bogart. Shit, if someone can point me in the direction of a place that makes wheels I'll do it and copy what bogart did.

Weld Racing made a wheel that would fit. I have a set. I just don't understand why someone can't make something similar.

I assume you're talking about the XPs? Yes, they work, but they also aren't light. They were truck wheels. The 15x9 XPs I had were at least 50% heavier than my 15x10 Bogarts.

But, if they were half the price of Bogarts, people would snap them up in a heartbeat... regardless of the weight. Just having a 15" wheel and all those tire choices would be worth it to 90% of the guys out there.
