Nevermind. Tuner was trying to get me to go with the mmr Distributor route. But it looks very costly.

Not really a point in ditching the COP's until they can't keep it.

IMO, unless you r building a pure race car, the stock ECM and ignition is fine.

Well I'm gunning for low 9's. So I'm trying to get everything I need. Alot of my turbo foxbody friends run a big stuff. So I plan on a big stuff and also the traction control module (etm).

The Foxes don't have the sophisticated PCM like ours. There are cars in the 8s on stock PCM.

If u r more comfortable with BS3, it's your $$

That is the key. Tuning fo the new style ECM has come a long way since the Fox Days!

I have the ETM option also, which driveshaft speed sensor are you using?

I haven't bought the sensor yet. I literally just ordered it. I have a whole list of things to do before I tackle the little details.
What sensor do u use??

Have not ordered that part yet, that part of the harness in just sitting behind the console, only using the 3 step, oil pressure, and Fuel pressure right now.

Agreed. I will however be doing some testing with the MSD Dis4 setup on my car with the stock computer and the MSD coils after tuning is done. I am on the stock pcm with the MSD coils now and all has been good with a gap of .032 up to 24 psi with no blowout. I plan to test the Dis4 setup at .032 and then .040 and see what happens.

Your best bet with BS3 is to use LS coils if your BS3 will support it. Much easier and less expensive and you can make plenty of power.

That's what I did. I did the bs3 with ls1 coils from jpc racing. Also dea and dai.
