Expensive, even at the "sale" price, and they might not work in my side airbag equipped 08.

But they sure look nice.

How much do those weigh? They do have airbags in them Sleeper

The description in the link says "Fits 2005-2012 Mustang, but airbags are made for 2011-12 Mustangs. Check compatibility with your dealer for 2005-2010 airbags. If your car does not have side airbags, this is not a concern".

When I ordered my car I included the side airbag option because at 6' 2" if I get hit in the side my head would go right against the top of the door frame.

The FRPP Recaros do, indeed - 100% positive - come with side air bags.

I agree that Corbeau's flex more than others. But with a rear brace, they are very solid. Regardless of what brand set you use, a rear brace should be incorporated into the install. Because other people drive my car, I had to build an adjustable rear brace. The seats are FX1 standard width.

Got me some FRPP seats a few month back for everyday use, but I still swap in my Recaro race seat for track days so I can use my 5-point.

How do you like the FRPP seats? How is the fit and function?

My wife and I love them (she even paid for one herself for the 2400 mile road trip to the Shelby Bash) but maybe a little snug for the bigger guys- one issue is the Air Bag Systems are not compatiable and requires a complete change over from my '08 seats to make them plug in correctly. (winter of '12 project)
But on the plus side I found with the FRPP seat installed my passengers now can now stay secured on track day with just the OEM lap belt.

Very nice... I think these could be my next purchase for the stang.
