So, what do you think the issue is with the car then?

Purchase a supercharger, and stop trying to floor it from 750 rpm in 3rd gear like he has one. Or learn how to drive in the power band.

Right, because it makes PERFECT sense for a car to have a "powerband" only part of the time. Its an actual problem, thanks.

Sorry for saying that, was not really saying it to you, I was being an asshole to him.

I would call BBR and ask them about the cams since more than 3 people in this thread have said something about thme being a bad batch.

FWIW I had my engine blow up and i trailered it to brenspeed and the did a R&R and I stayed up there almost a week and toured thier shop and picked thier brains.

They arent fly by night, like many of the haters in this thread would like you to believe.

I'm damn sure they wouldnt tell you something that they didn't know wasn't true.

I might be a fanboy, but after 10K hard miles on my new engine and it drives like stock in any condition be it 110 F or 10 F. I'm a firm beliver in thier work.

Sorry for you problems but I have seen countless posts in the last few months bad mouthing thier stuff and it has been no name forum tuners who think their shit don't stink.

No I do not work for them.

He was at 1,500 RPM. In third, it should pick up cleanly from there. In fact, a good test for any motor is to see how it rev's from a lugging RPM. It should not do what it is doing.

Your advise....:lemon:

I wasnt bad mouthing their work. I've used them for over a year now and have been happy up til now. Something is up though and I just don't like feeling like I have to beg people to work.

I know the two people I have talked to weren't the tuner there, so maybe they are just unsure. I just don't see how this issue could be "normal" as I was told.

This is an actual problem, it happens in any and every gear at times. I'm not an idiot, I know how my car should run and this is not normal, you don't have to floor it for it to happen as your saying we floor the car at 750 rpm and expect it to go. It does it often with the cruise set in 5th gear, so unless you rode in the car and experienced it you probably wouldnt understand.

So, if both of you have the same exact setup and different tuners, but the same problem, then maybe it might just be something wrong with all those mods together?

Something mechanical maybe....

That is a possibility, I'm not trying to place blame on anyone, I'd just like to figure it out. I'm highly confident in my tuner I just need to speak with him about it so maybe we can datalog whats going on when this happens

I think it has something to do with the fact that the specs on the website are wrong. Im sure with a Dyno tune with all the correct information there right in front of someone it would be tuned just fine. Im gunna wait til I hear back from them to do anything though.

My car this as well. All i have is intake and delete plates. Before the tune i had no issues what so ever. When i loaded the tune i have that loss of power below 2800ish rpms. Its like i can hold it at partial throttle and not move the accelerator and wait a second or two and then it finally feels more power. Reminds me of driving a turbo car. ha. Im not going to contact my tuner until after i install the headers in a couple weeks. And if its still doing it then ill start hunting for the solution or another tuner. Which is probably the issue...the tune. Feels like a timing issue to me when driving it. Btw its not brenspeed.

So Brenspeed keeps telling me that's just the characteristic of the cam. Im not sure I believe that. Id hate to shell out a couple hundred bucks to another tuner just to have the same problem though.

When you buy a part and it does not work to your satisfaction, at some point, you cut your loses and move on. There are cams out there that are proven to work and have many tuners that have made them work. Not easy to give up on hard earned money spent.

LOL! I STRONGLY suggest you use the search button. After you read, draw your own conclusions, and make your purchase.

Weather man I have did a lot of searching! I'm just seeing what everyone thinks about them! U don't have to be ignorant.

I smell trollllll. If in fact you actually did do a lot of searching, you'd know what everyone thinks about bbr and their cams. Looks like you're the ignorant one.
