It looks really good.

I was looking at doing this a couple years ago when I did my brake upgrade, but was unable to find rebuild kits for the calipers. I didn't want to risk removing, and damaging the seals, because replacement seals where not available. Due to the heat involved with powdercoating, the seals need to come out. What did you do here?

I just use air and pushed the pistons out. When i re-installed the pistons, I lubericated the piston and seal/bore. Front was cake...the rear was a bitch. There is a snap ring inside the bore that hold the e-brake assembly in. Had to use a couple of picks and long flathead screwdriver to get it in it's groove, while compressing it in a vise. Then the rear piston just screws back in. ( You hafto seat the dust boots before starting the piston into the bore).

Looks great but I would have probably gone with a different color than orange. :poke:

me thinks you would have chosen "gray" !!

me too. I did mine in the black paint kit. I would do black. I'm older... (less to flash) ... :pompoms:

Did a great job on those orange rotors. Attention to detail inside the grooves and slots as well as outer rotor edges looks great. Prob time consuming doing all that, but well worth it.

My camera does the exact same thing to my car. I take a picture of my car with my camera and it looks hugger orange. Take a picture with the woman's camera and it looks a shade or so darker than the torch red that it is.

+1 I'm holding judgment until I see them with wheels mounted in front of 'em :beerdrink:

Yeah, I like the painted calipers, especially how he did them, but I'm skeptical about the red on the rotors...

Here's the only pic I have of mine painted, and it's old as hell. IMO, I'm doing some black bullitts in the coming weeks, and I'd like to get an idea if that red in the center of the rotors, the holes, and the slots look good with the wheels on. IMO painted calipers are an easy mod that really helps make the car stand out more!

Gawd...three in a row!

Jizabel, I watched your youtube vid, and I'm glad you have black bullitts!!! Looks nice btw!!! I got an idea of the color on the rotors from the vid, but the view wasn't all that great.
