Painted the grille emblem black and the 5.0 badges, which the paint didn't come out great on those so I just order a pair from eBay for $20 shipped.

Looks damn good. Pictures of GHIG just don't do the color justice.

Just got together most of my stock parts in storage today and just wrote up my part out thread -----

JonnyGMachine that thing you did is going on my list.

that shit looks awsome and I will be doing autox and road racing next year so I would like some brake cooling:thumb2:

today I just picked up my car from a detail shop

got 35% tint all around (MD legal limit) and full inside/out detail.

35 doesn't sound like much but with the black car and the black/red interior it really looks good.

will have pics with weather clears up

Thanks!!!!
Yeah the chin will not only even out the front with the rear in the looks department but will be functional in adding some front aerodynamics and down force especially after I get the front splitter on.
*
The Agent 47 brake hose kit should finish off cold air ducting to the rotors nicely.
*
Just a quick note - The chin and brake scoops were only mocked up to the front end to check for proper fitment prior to the chin going to paint. This is how it looked coming out of the box. Got a PM about how it looked on the car and that's how it looked out of the box. I'm waiting for my one-off hood that I designed and am having made for my car so that i can paint the chin, front bumper cover, hood at the same time. Have a painter lined up, just got to wait until spring.

Woke up this morning. Planned to take the car to the shop to part this thing out and saw outside there is 2 inches of snow already and there is no signs of it stopping.

Today I realized that you never really know how many parts you put on your car until you take them all off in one sitting. My hands hurt.

Was gonna tackle the LT removal today but said F it and will put it off till the new gaskets come in Monday/Tuesday. I just removed the Brembos, reinstalled stock struts up front and springs and reinstalled the stock wheel studs.

Tomorrow I do my mid pipe, cat back, axle backs, shifter, and maybe my UCA. Finish up some interior work. Thinking about going back to stock air box too

I'm leaving my LCAs since I trashed them. I bought a stock upper when my adjustable was pissing me off. I just filled up yesterday and idk how many safety jacks we have at work. Might not be worth the hassle right now.

Drove it to Denver for a VA appointment.
Roughly 170 miles roundtrip. Felt great to drive it that much.... Been having withdrawals.

I should be taking my LCA off my 09 this week or next week. What aftermarket shifter do you have?

It's a MGW (the revised version I believe - I purchased it new in summer 2010). The problem is I need the parts before Friday to swap it all out since I am leaving to go back to NC on Sat. I got a update on the new car and I do not think I will even see it before I leave. :wtf: It's gonna be the longest 4 months ever.
