Found a great deal on a new TCI shifter... the first of several purchases for my planned auto conversion this winter.

Cleared the bottom of my spoiler. Letting it harden overnight in the house. I may try to wetsand it tomorrow, or I may just throw it on the car. I really rushed it as an experiment, and got a few runs.

Is it really gone, Cam? You're gonna have to fess up on the replacement pretty soon. Every time I see another Bullitt traded in it makes me rethink my plans for mine.

His was a black one, who cares?! DHG Bullitts are the best Bullitts! I wish I had known about Bullitts when I was shopping for my car.

I think you will like the Auto Tranny. :thumb2:

Terry

Said my goodbyes to it and had a manly cry.
OK Cam,

I think it is about time to share with your buddies what the (Replacement) is.

Brian,

Keep your machine man.

Finally got around to installing my smoked corner lenses, new antenna, and trunk release button. No pictures of the trunk release button, but here are some fronts:

Brian, I honestly am uneasy about getting rid of the Bullitt. You could call it an emotional attachment, but I had to make a choice and while the 5.4 4V swap was 99.9% decided on a couple weeks ago I came across a rare opportunity for the exact car I told myself if it came on the market I would jump on it. Don't let the herd of B owners persuade you to sell yours.

I'm going to miss the mysterious aura that surrounds my car, where most of the public are so confused and even the guys who know what Bullitts are have no idea they were made in black (or blue)

I have the largest pro/con list for the switch... it was a tough one, haha.

Don't you be dissing on the Black or True Blue 01's!

Cam just know that some of your Bullitt is alive in mine and if your ever in the neighborhood come take her for a spin :)

I appreciate the gestures. Black Bullitt pals for life. Too bad you won't be able to use the "fellow black bullitt discount" excuse anymore on my classified ads.... bahahaha

I will be sharing with all once I get some pictures. I literally will be missing the car by a day. The car carrier had to go all the way up north and then come down to VA. It should be here tomorrow, and if not Monday. My brother will be texting some pictures of it and I'll spill the beans. So just hold your panties on... I like the suspense I created.

Mikey don't you say a word about it, I'm trusting you! :roflmao:
