It should bolt up but I'm not sure how it will clear the fascia, and of course you will have to drill holes for the downrods.

If you can find them the front bumper beam from a FR500S has a plate welded on that has provisions for 3 splitter rods

It'll be cheaper for me to just modify my own. If I was going to purchase a beam, I would get the new lightweight 302S piece. But then I'd have to figure out a way to mount my heat exchanger.

Yep. It mounts the same way that the heat exchangers on FI cars do. Easy way of doing things. Unfortunately, I am FI so I'll have to get creative with mounting my splitter rods.

Any pics by chance of your setup? I am running a GT500 so I imagine the H/E will be in the way of the FRPP piece.

I haven't fabricated my setup yet, but I will post pics when I do. I plan to do a U bracket extending down from the bottom of the bumper beam with a captured nut that the rods will just screw into. The brackets will be pretty short, just enough to work. I dont want them protruding into the airflow of the HE too badly.

Here is the splitter support beam I made. It has three tapped holes that the clevises for the splitter supports hang from. It is made from magnesium.

Fantastic work as usual. When can I buy that heat exchanger from you guys? :naughty1: On your radiator boxing, does it extend all the way to the cali special fascia you have? It looks short compared to where I need to extend mine.

EDIT: Any chance you could make one that's a bit smaller? Closer to the APR one?

I can make them any size. The one I made was 6" due to that's what the original on the FR500S was. I can make it bigger or smaller it just depends on what you want and need. Sorry if i came off sounding like a jerk in the above post didn't mean to! :beerdrink:

Didn't sound like a jerk at all, don't worry about it'

I'm thinking a 2" or 2.5" would be good for me. Any ideas on pricing?

Yes seals right to the front fascia. It looks short to you do to the oil cooler and heat exchanger taking up a lot of space.

I don't want to jack the thread here...but I need to do some boxing from the above the splitter area (lower valance) and above the bumper, throught the grill (upper valance). I'd love to see some more pics and info on the boxing these areas. Maybe I'll start a thread...I'll search first...
