I was going to say I've seen a biz with a Maserati v8 in it b4.
Just add some hips.
The Coyote motor is quite a bit bigger than a LS though.
That I like! ^
I'M STUCK BETWEEN WAITING TO SEE THIS NEW S550 DESIGN AND SPECS.
RUMOR HAS IT THEY WILL RELEASE A 2014.5 50Th ANNIVERSARY EDITION OF THE SAME 2015 S550.
I HOPE SO BEFORE I'M NOT ABLE TO ORDER A 2014. IN THE CASE THAT I DON'T LIKE THE NEW S550.

The only things that concern me with this new design #1 room under the hood with the 5.0 liter with super chargers & turbo's if to tight it could cause issues for inthusiest that enjoy modding I hope they leave room for that so the motor would need to set further back into firewall for room in front of engine for centrifugal & most turbo setups.
#2 I am concerned with the IRS rear I know its better for corner carving but im not a corner carver as much as I am a strait line drag racer. I also know IRS can be setup to work for drag racing but how long will it take for the aftermarket to catch up to have a stout IRS & diff to launch 1000 rwhp & TQ and hold up.. I know the aftermarket will catch up quickly but how quickly and how strong will they be able to make the IRS?? I hope Ford gives them a strong enough platform to be able to make the IRS & diff strong and durable enough for serious power and launches on real slicks.. this can be done but Ford better be on there game.. FORD PLEASE DONT F THIS UP!

I give it 6 months before one of these big time drag companies releases a 9" kit for the new Mustang or retrofits a live axle into the next gen cars and I give it 9 months before folks who are serious about drag racing start swapping with regularity. That is a complete lack of faith on the part of the community that Ford will design an IRS that can be made to work at the strip and made to work well. This is not some hodgepodge hack it in Cobra IRS unit with so many compromises that it just flat out sucks, this is a ground up new design. Modern multilink IRS units are pretty damn stout and so long as Ford sticks to something 8.8 or larger with some decent halfshafts and driveshaft, I doubt you'll have any issues with fragging them like first generation Cobra IRS units. I would be MORE worried about the attachment points to the chassis than I would be the IRS unit itself.
