You'll have to buy a turbo kit only from CPR if you a trans brake!!
Can't wait for someone else to bring this to market.

Would rather not see it if its not for sale! That's what gets me. Now if a retail friendly company could please sell me one.
I'm sure it will eventually be publicly availible. But not until other things are figured out first.

I thought about this a little this morning, looked over some schematics and hydraulic circuits. I should have done this before, it appears to be incredibly easy. I see 2 possibly workable scenarios.

1. Using 2 relays to swap PCM connections between SSB and SSD. A single DPDT relay would work but those aren't common in the automotive world. This applies the direct and releases the low/reverse which normally releases at 3MPH in drive anyway.
2. Just use 1 relay and switch the SSB circuit over to an extra solenoid that isn't even in the trans. Or, a 5 ohm resistor could possibly work instead of an extra solenoid. This still applies the direct but keeps the low/reverse applied as normal.

The unknown is will the PCM freak during the few milliseconds where the relay switches. But I'll have the answer to that soon enough. :stir:

Of course they will. People still whining because he hasn't broke any records, and comparing it to race cars ol
This vid was just a matter of some being there to tape it when he was using it.

...but it was sooooo easy with an auto I was told. Now we are hearing you have to have full suspension, fuel system, etc. to make it work and break into the 9's. So we are looking at:
1. -DA
2. Full suspension
3. Auto with a converter
4. 8-10lbs. of boost
5. Transbrake
6. Fuel system

What's it gonna take fellas?

I like the transbrake and looks like it works. I just see others doing more with less.

So with all that he is just alittle bit faster than an N/A car? Hmmmm

About the same given differing conditions. ;)

Power adder car run in -100' DA.
N/A car was run in +1,450' DA.

You so silly.....

1) Where do you get negative DA at?
2) Full suspension? You cant be that dumb to think putting a transbrake on a stock suspension car will magically make it haul ass and do record 60' times do you? I knew as soon as I did the brake I would have to set the car up for the hit. We just did it to shut you guys up.
3) Converter? I got one of those its a CircleD 3c...its does not stall very high for ANY turbo setup, but I make it work...helps to have a 2step or I could sneak in some nitrous and not tell anyone...lol
4) 10lbs? Hell no sir, This kit makes way to much power for me to be @ 10lbs on a stock motor. After all this is a Stock motor... not a boss long block.
5) Transbrake...... Got one....
6) Fuel System, Yes sir Car runs out of fuel at higher RPM anywhere near 7lbs so I limit the poor girl to 6900rpm.

Wtf you you babbling about? Autos are easier you know it and anyone saying other wise is full of shit lol. You'll just keep running your mouth no matter what he runs. But we'll try our best to let YOU know when he decides to push it. I thought 10.3 on 4psi for most of the 1/4 wasn't half bad. But I'll let all my customers know to jeopardize the stock engine in their DD just so we can please you. Making sure you're content is our #1 goal.

No, he's made up his own mod list. Car has stock EVERYTHING but kit, injectors, BAP and tires. They like to compare to lighter gutted cars. It makes them feel better. But you should see the hissy fit he throws when you compare JPC's sealed stock coyote that's much faster than thier n/a jewel. All the sudden it's not a "fair" comparison.

Hell of a list to run 10.30's.

That converter is bone stock. Yessir.

JPC Coyote Stock car is what you call a gutted race car weighing in under 3000lbs. for that 9 second pass. Completely not street legal.

Like your customer's, we have been running street legal cars with the creature comforts. :thumb:

There is always more to the story with you guys.

Some One says -100 DA.... Just looked on drag times, closer to +900

Hell of a list? I was just addressing your talking points. I should turn down the boost more, and run an 11.50...that should get ya ALL excited!

I dunno how many places I have to say, or post that I have a converter..but you gotta grab on to anything you can to try and make an argument lol.

There is not much more to my story......unlike others
