cops were out there all morning..they were around the corner giving tickets when this moron wrecked. There had been problems over the last few months of idiots out there doing burnouts and such leaving...c&c has been in jeopardy for a while bc of the shenanigans, but the place it's held at kept giving second chances. This time it was too much...event has been canceled, and I'm pretty sure there's a bounty out for this guy on the c&c facebook page lol

Was he someone new to the event? I guess I'm just surprised know one here has said they know who it is.

I go to the cars and coffee up the street time to time, but man I have to say the Mustang crowd is the worst. All the Cobra's do burnouts and then there is always is that guy in the 5.0 who tries and he nearly looses control.

I'm all for having fun, hell I ripped one when we were at Mustang Week, but some people just don't have any business doing that shit.

thats the problem, some can do it most can't. plus whats the point bragging rights? last time i did something showy i spun the car around and barely missed hitting the curb. it was on empty streets. a watch this moment. after that i learned my lesson and walked away unscathed and don't do that on the streets... now if theres an emmpty parking lot and no curb stops or poles its fair game.

Is this not what actually started the C&C? Meaning... Idiots closed a lot of "Gathering" spots because they turned them into drags or idiot sessions... Many closed/canceled as a result. And C&C was created to offer a calm and friendly environment for those with a love of vehicles and shop talk could meet again?

Seems like as long as there are humans, this is going to happen. It is one thing to go to an event that allows this kind of fun in a controlled environment, it is another to endanger lives and be a punk...

Now, I am not perfect.. As a "Kid" is did some pretty stupid shit. But as an adult, no chance in hell thus far. I have seen totally innocent people get hurt under normal circumstances in life, no need to add to it... Have I had the itch? Hell yes...

It is a shame. It was something to look forward to once a month. Most of my friends aren't car guys and sometimes I just like talking to knowledgable car guys and just shooting the shit with them. Now I can't do that. Hopefully they'll find a work around.
