Goneford, like skwerl said no you arent missing anything. The collectors where the longtubes and x pipe meet kept loosening up on me. The factory hardware sucks, but i was too lazy to fix it the right way. Today after hearing the rattling i couldnt deal with it anymore. I had everything to fix it so i got after it. Now i can drive down my driveway without dragging my exhaust for 1/4 mile lol.

Seemed odd to me that I have two hanger hooks on my x-pipe with nothing anywhere for them to connect to. Just seemed an opportune time to ask... Thanks.

finally got around to tearing apart the wilwood disc brake kit i made and sand blasted and powder coated the calipers

use your cnc skills and fab up some brackets to get GT500 brembos to float in the rear with a usable parking brake. :beerdrink:

Does TX have strict tint laws?

VA sux with those laws too.

Continuing the search for a stock 13/14 GT500 midpipe, trying to find one local.

I know....funny thing is you can go as dark as you want on the rear windows of a truck/SUV but 50% on the drivers window...

Looks much better. Coming from Florida, tint is a necessity. Just don't roll down the damn windows! My wife did that when I had her (now thankfully gone) Altima tinted and I about crapped my pants. Thankfully no damage was done. Hard to remember when you pull up to an ATM though. Better to just open the door.

I put painters tape over the window switches until the tint has dried.

The shop I used in Virginia Beach did the same. They even put a light meter to the tint to demonstrate that the tint was within legal limits set by the commonwealth. They did a good job and I like the appearance difference it made along with the cooler interior in the summer months.

Today I placed another order with Hypermotive :)

- Steeda 555-4098 upper control arm for lowered 11-14 cars
- Steeda 555-4096 upper control arm for lowered 05-09 cars for the GF's '08 Shelby
- Redline Tuning all-black no-drill hood strut kits for both cars
- Speed of Sound dual-gauge a-pillar for my car
- Speed of Sound triple-gauge a-pillar for her Shelby

Also ordered the Ford Racing rear bump stop kit, this one from Autonation Ford, for almost $25 shipped, better by a few dollars than what anybody else could've done it for.

Still looking for gauges.
She wants A/F ratio, Boost, and oil psi
I want Boost and oil psi.
I already am getting A/F ratio readout via the Aeroforce, and on a recent WOT pull through 3rd and 4th gears it was right at 12.4-12.5 :)

Whipple still not installed :(

I found a guy who comes to the house to tint the cars which I am happy to pay a little bit more for; also had him tint my home windows.

Scraped a couple inches of ice off it cutting the crap out of my hand in the process, talked to Customer service @ Comp Cams about grinding custom Turbo cams and spring recommendations for an 11:1 engine with 12-15lbs of boost.... Damn its way too easy to spend money with these cars.

Oh yes. My sister did the same thing to her car.

Not my first time at the rodeo though. Had many vehicles tinted.

They put a nice bright green sticker over the switches with a warning lol

Looking good but also looks really WET outside.

Man, it was in the 70s and sunny yesterday and today the high got into the low 40s and nothing but overcast and drizzling rain. Blech
