I like it. I want a cf hood bad....but with how I am I would then have to get the trunk, wing, fenders....it's a sickness.

No offense but a CF hood doesn't blend in with a Bullit mustang IMO ...

Hi Keith ...

I do know what you say and it would be so easy to go down that road with the CF parts.

I am "Strong" though and so far have not Slid down it.

I'll post a few pics. of the actual "Seibon" CF hood below.
I contacted Seibon and talked with one of the sales reps.
He volunteered to go out in the warehouse, UN-Box the CF Hood, take pics. of it
Then E-Mail them to me so I knew really what it was going to look like when I got my car back.
I'll post those below as it will give you a lot better idea than the Cell Pic. I got from Brenspeed in their shop.

Manuel ...

No-Offense taken on this end at all.

As I have said and posted this is what I want and it very well might not be what someone else likes or wants.

It's just like anything else we choose for our Mustangs, personal choice.

Hang Tough Buddy and thanks for your post and thoughts.

A few Pictures of the real CF Hood.

Hey Keith ...

You sure know how to put a Smile on a fellows face.

Now if one of these days I actually can get the finished Bullitt Mustang Home it will really be great.

Hi Neighbor ...

Tim, appreciate the compliment on my choice for the CF Hood.

Man I try my best not to miss any of your Post on your Bad-Ass Stang !!!
I think you are still working with it on the Rich-Fuel-Condition.
It will get resolved sooner or later and you will IMHO be a Very-Happy-Camper.

Looks like you'll have plenty of ventilation under the hood now. Do the side vents pull cool air in while the center expels hot air?

This is nothing more than a GUESS at best.

I think all the Vents (Expel) the Hot-Air as you are driving and (Pull) the air out of the engine compartment.

You know kind of like a Low-Pressure-Zone and the Hot-Air rising and then being Pulled out if you will.

Either way they look like they will do their job well.

I think it will get the job done.

The CF hood fits right into the overall new theme of the New Phase #2 "tigermachine" I think.

Bill ...

Nor had I when I began my search.
The more I looked and read I soon found out that "Seibon" was the Company for CF products.
Then all I had to do was Pick out the CF hood that I thought would best work with the New Look for 2014 I wanted.
I think it will work out very well once I see it all completed.

Terry....that hood is bad ass! Love it!

Are you going to have the hood painted to match the car? It would be really cool if you could find a place to do a C/F wrap so the rest of the car matches the hood!

Well buddy the answer to the above is, (Nope) on all accounts.

I'm going to run it just the way it was produced by "Seibon".

There will be no more CF on the Bullitt inside or out.

Oh and I do think if another person either did the Stripes or wrap it would look "Killer".

Just not what I wish for the New Theme of mine.

You know I think it is interesting what the different ones of us come up with to do to our Mustangs.

Just like what you have mentioned in your Post as an example.

So many Awesome ideas that can be done and all of them would look great.

My apology to those following this thread. :(

Hello ...

I apologize for not jumping right on here as I did get some news from George at

Basically he said the Custom ordered parts were "Shipped" and on there way.

Oh, he also said the New Phase #2 "tigermachine" goes to the, "Custom Body Shop" on Monday, March 3rd 2014.

Then when it comes back from the Body-Shop they will get back to installing those other parts.

So, from what George said in the E-Mail seems things are really all coming together nicely.

Who knows maybe it will be ready for Bobby & I to pick it up on March 31st and bring it home, maybe.

{Weather Permitting that is}
