I guess this is really two days worth - picked up the car from the shop with the new cowl hood from RevelareDesign.com on it and new paint:











Then I drove it to the office the next day, because it was supposed to be "warm" (in the upper 20's and mid 30's) and no snow or bad weather. I needed to burn off some gas from the tank so it is down near 1/4 before I take the car to Detroit Autorama set up on March 5:


Typical Michigan weather and the forecast being off just a little.

I checked the view with my gopro mouned on the panhard bar. Hope to see what the suspension is doing at the track (and I plan to put a stripe on the inside sidewall of the tire to watch for tire spin).

Whats the purpose of the cut back ground strap?

Better combustion efficiency. Kind of like indexing sparks plugs. Both methods add a fraction more hp. Not worth it for a street car. However, in class racing, every hp counts.

My ABS delete manifold arrived today from PRB Machining. The quality of work is amazing and is 12lbs lighter than the OEM unit.
