Sweet mods! Where did you pick up the CS stuff? Always liked it, just overpriced every where I look.
you sell the shaker?

Ordered it through the dealer I used to work at. Not sure if I'll still able to get the part numbers I ordered though, since they are the accessory kits. I still get stuff for cost + 5%, so it was around $600 for both.

And yes, the shaker is gone. I've been rolling around for 6 weeks with a silver hood lol.

And ... I'm back to GT500 mufflers. Not as loud as I was hoping for, especially after spending the morning romping on the car with the Borla S-Types still installed, but much quieter and no longer advertising that I'm coming from a mile away.

More pieces of the puzzle today...

MMR ? really ? you do know that those have been broken and the tss are superior due to the machining process. if I were you, I'd send those back for a refund and pm me and I'll hook you up with the tss gears for less than what you paid for those thru an s197 vendor of course.

Ok. The trim piece that goes on top of the hood has a busted place on the corner of my shaker. any ideas how I could fix it? I don't think you can just buy a hood trim piece, that I could find. Thanks man.

Call CDC. They'll sell you the upper trim ring. They will sell all the parts for the shaker. I bought one a few years ago for about $30. They're local to me, so you'll have to pay shipping.

hit torbeennee up. he sent me pics of his broken mmr gears that wiped his whole engine out. full build at 8** rwhp. TSS for 300 shipped FTW !!!

FUCK MMR :chainsaw:Do a search on them, you will not like what you read and there is a reason they are not a vendor on this forum. Also if your curious, you can contact tss directly or Jordan at the modular head shop and they will fill you in on the difference in those gears vs tss

Yeah, no one in Asheville worth a hoot, so Dan is my closest bestest choice.
actually there is one , not going to mention his name but he is half the distance from you but being that I can't get a call back from him, dan is the man now because he has done lots of good work for friends and acquaintances of mine. the other guy must be making too much money working on dale jr's and kurt busch's junk to bother with my chump change even though ive spent 1300 with him on 3 different sessions. he is top notch but not cheap as you would have to pay for his engineering degree

how long did it take to peel all that off?

It took me a total of about 3 hours, then about 3 more with goo gone to remove all the overspray and thinner parts that were coated. I think it basically takes about the same time to put on and make it look good.

The worst part was the spoiler, its better to remove it and do it off the car.

Rears are 305/30R20's. Pics up this weekend when I pick it all up.

Parked it at the ford dealership for a 30 minute test drive of a '14 manual 5.0 and I realized once again how much nicer and faster the 5.0's are. I'm still patiently waiting to pull the trigger on a new mustang. Shooting for February 2015 for either a leftover 14 5.0, a 2015, or a used '13 Shelby.
