There are two small "flaps" (sorry, I don't know the technical term) on the underside of the mustang. Each one is behind the driver/passenger, just in front of the gas tank. They look like they are designed to separate the air flow from the car, before it gets all messed up in the gas tank/axle jungle.
Has there been any airflow testing done with these pieces removed or replaced with something larger to increase their effect?
