Been a while since I've even posted on here but I've been busy with a few things. Actually been working on my buddy's 90 mustang gt on Friday/today. we installed some hooker longtube headers on car. Mostly stock when he bought it a few months ago, but after finishing up he has a big backfire on it. He didn't have a midpipe ready to go yet since he has one on the way. All he had was the headers running without a midpipe. We started the car outside the garage and don't know why it's backfiring like that. He didn't install the oxygen sensors since he didn't have the extensions. I'm thinking that's why it's backfiring, even without a midpipe. Am I wrong??

Got my GT500 splitter installed on Saturday, wasn't to bad of a process besides having to take it on and off a dozen times for the right fitment.

Thanks man! and from my ford dealership it was $136.63 which I thought was pretty damn reasonable considering most aftermarket front splitters and spoilers are 160+ and all I had to do was go pick it up lol.

Well I also did get it at wholesale rather than retail I believe, I know a lot of the ford parts guys and they try to get me the best deal I can get. But the part number is: 7R3Z-17626-AB

After installing the headers on my buddys Shelby over the weekend I washed and waxed it for him yesterday. It needed it badly.

The sound difference isn't as obvious in the videos as it is in person.

That looks good. How was the install? Any modifications required?

And I almost thought about writing up a how to.. lol, but it wasn't to bad, you need to cut a small portion off of each side for it to fit our bumpers and then trim accordingly where needed, it's pretty self explanatory. Other than that it took me about 2 hours from start to finish and lots of taking on and off to get it just right, then all I had to do was drill the holes and mount it.

Installed this. No more oil puking all over the axle at the track.

Also put a CG Lock in it. After the suspension update, I'm holding myself in the seats--even with the Recaros. Later a full harness setup will go in, but this will work until then.

Thanks. They're 305/40/18's
A small amount of bulging on the OEM 9.5's, but not bad. Lots of guys running this size on 9.5 SVT's
