At least they did you right by it. I love those cars

I miss it so bad already.

It will be interesting to see what price they put on it....and how long it takes to sell.

Haha I'm sure I don't want to know. My 11 sat at the dealership for like 9 months after I traded it in on the Boss. When I apologized to my uncle for losing his dealership money on the car he said it more than made up for it with people who came in to look at my old car, and ended up leaving with something else.

I used to sell cars, and was happy with the deal. This was my only week off for the next two months, and I really didn't want to spend any more time and effort on it after the demod. Could I have gotten more? Sure. Would it be worth it? No, not to me.

Time value of money. Glad you understand that simple concept. Too many people list cars/houses/whatever way higher than they should be and end up making insurance/mortgage payments for a year and end up losing so much more money in the process than if they'd just listed it a little lower than its true value.

Whoops sorry. Just have to install my Splitter and Splitter rods.

That hood is so sexy painted like that. Looks awesome with those black wheels.

Exactly. The thought of having to go through listing the car, dealing with potential buyers, haggling, processing the eventual sale, and who knows what else didn't seem like it was worth another couple grand. Especially if it took another month or more. Plus, I would be pissed if my 4.0 suffered because of the attention I was devoting to the sale, instead of my schoolwork.

Decided to take it off daily driver duty cause of all the wear and tear it has received over a year. Now to decide if I want something really good on gas, something small and sporty, or another truck

Put my WOT box on. I was assuming the no lift shift AND the two step would function right out of the box at the default values, but only the NLS is working. I'm hoping I just need to connect to the module and turn it on...

Stock driveshaft, uca, and mount is out. BMR uca and mount are in. Pinion angle is set per Kelly's recommendation. Its too hot work anymore today. Tomorrow DSS driveshaft, BMR loop, and Strange rear shocks will go in. Sunday I will put in the BMR kmember I have. The stock driveshaft is a heavy bitch.

It's safe to assume you have no knowledge of what goes on in the purchasing department at CarMax.
When I was in the buyers office every offer was researched and proved to the customer of how fair it was.

Of the 3 vehicles I have taken to CarMax, none was even remotely fairly priced ($2k+ below KBB trade-in valuation). The first one was so bad I laughed in the sales guys face and had to ask if he was serious. They obviously are doing something right but I would never even consider going to them to trade in/sell or to buy.
