Not sure if many know about this build, simply because we did it way before it was cool (or thought of)

We were basically the first to:

-Put a pushrod in an S197
-Put a 9" Rear in an S197
-Put a full aftermarket suspension on an S197
-Run 8's in an S197
-The list goes on, if you wanna get technical...lol

Here is a link to the build:

http://www.bmrsuspension.com/projectcars/MustangBuildup1.htm

The car went mid 8's the first pass it ever made (2005). It ended up going 8.0's a few months after.

Unfortunately, the car is still sitting in a shed....as is....and has the potential to go well into the 7's.

I have actually though about trying to work a deal out, to get the car back at our shop and let it eat.

Oh.......you would love to check out our folder on the server from that photoshoot....

NUTS!

I like this strategically placed photo, personally. Had to blur the good stuff though, for posting.

I know this is an old thread but for the following brags:
-Put a pushrod in an S197
-Put a 9" Rear in an S197
-Put a full aftermarket suspension on an S197
Who really cares if you are "the first" and why would you go back in technology? See 197s are OLD technology so how much does it matter now? I really do not get this "we are the first to do XYZ mentality in marketing"
