What have you done to your mustang today?

Get a magnet on a stick. I picked up a flexible grapple tool and magnet on an extendible stick both for $3 last month. Hopefully you can fish the springs out of the tank. I already used mine fishing my drain plug out of the oil drain pan last week.

I got them fished out thankfully. I think I overpaid for my $7.00 snap on magnet on a stick.... Hooked the fuel line back up, stuck the springs back on and it fired right up. Thanks to Bobby@S&H Performance and BruceH for their help!

Same way it always gets there. I keep thinking I can hold on to the plug and pull it out of the way quickly enough to not get hot oil all over my hand and I always lose.

You guys have to get the drain plug valve, shit is awesome, just turn the handle and the oil flows out. Also my snap on 3/8ths fine tooth ratchets are the best money I have spent, very helpful in tight spots.

Oh I agree their great tools no doubt! I own a a lot of them, but most stuff they carry is definitely on the high side of tools price wise.

Hell yeah their stuff is overpriced but the 300 dollar deal I got on my 3/8 ratchet and 3/8 electric impact couldn't be beat. Certainly irreplacable I don't even need air tools at home! LOL

Weird thing though, fixed my fuel pump and driving home boost came on WAY faster than before.... I think that pump setup has been fucked up since shortly after I installed it... Less than a thousand miles ago. No bashing on the company cause a couple loose fittings weren't a biggie in this situation.

Oh for sure, I was looking at a breaker bar, 180 for the 3' one and 120ish for the 2' one, crazy. Anyways I adjusted mt pinion angle again today, no vibes up to 115, so I think I found the right angle, 1.5* down.

But they do make some of the best tools you can get and specialize in being some of the only right tools for the job.
I must ask, do I have it that bad that both the snap on and Matco trucks stop at my house on Fridays? lol...

Eh it's not hurting to bad, were family friends with both of them so they stop and see if I need anything and chit chat for a while. Usually in that time the gear heads in my neighborhood stop by and buy whatever they desire so the both of them are pretty happy about that.

My tool box at home is pretty filled with about anything you may need, but the big box at the shop has anything you could ever think of that will fit in it lol.

I can't stand messy boxes, every time I use something or use it, it gets wiped off before being put back. And every weekend or so I go through them both and clean them and make sure I don't need to replace everything

Last night, with a friend's help and using his lift, finally got the CHE axle brace installed on the girlfriend's Shelby:
Terrible that he lives an hour away so I had to drive the car by myself back and forth ... lol ... she's out of town till tonight ... we'll see how she likes it, I don't think she'll like it much once she gets it up to about 70 mph and she hears the much louder whine now being transmitted from the rear diff ... :/

Dude the pull up top is just unreal, I'm very happy with it. I cant wait until its broken in to do some spirited driving with it.

Thank you sir, I hated to see it go but it was time for a new one. Wanted a fresh start so I can mod it accordingly now. I picked up that 05 when I was 18 years old and did a lot of half ass stuff on it, now im 25 and my taste has changed significantly so Im really excited for a fresh start.

I think you'll find the 3.73 gears way to short. I have 3.55's and wish I had taller gears. I'll wait and see how this Chinese transmission holds up though, since I'd almost like to see it break so I can throw a T56 Magnum in the car.

Im not racing it or anything I just wanted the 3:73s for the extra "oomph" around town. Ill never supercharge it so I wasnt worried about the short gears haha.

Ya a whiteline adjustable upper, jacked up but with the axle tubes on stands so it is loaded. I got an angle finder at Lowe's because I tried using an app on my phone but it was giving inconsistent readings. I have a 1 piece ds so I measured the angle of the crank balancer and the angle of the pinion flange and calculated the difference for my angle. I read somewhere that is the way to do it for a 1 piece driveshaft, forget where.
