We shall see Paul. I have my money on a ring or ringland also though

Did you have issues with the same pistons on your old setup Paul?

Top of fourth on a long pull, wasn't lean,no detonation....just a lot of heat....pop....enough smoke to let me know it was fucked.

Mahle, livernois 4032 Pistons.

Pour some of what you are drinking on 7 and those numbers will come up for sure, lol.

Sorry to hear this, let me know if I can be of any help.

I want to cover my car in what I am drinking and let my wife light it on fire!

Well I figured out why #7 has no compression but holds a leak down test. Can someone please explain the oil on the plug though?

a friend said that if it cant intake air seeing as how the intake valve cant open, then it sucks oil in from the bottom. Would this be a plausible explanation?

OH shit been there done that... how often do you abuse that 2step?? hit the rev limiter? that's what happened when I hit the factory rev limiter the last time I had to tear shit down...

2 step all the time. I wasn't the best with the rev limiter the last time at the track either. Did you need a complete rebuild Bobbie? With my compression test results looks like I am looking at needing a re-ring anyway.

I wish I had a bore scope to check that Manuel. Wont know for sure on the ptv for a few weeks sadly enough

Big thanks to Bruce for telling me to pull the cam cover before pulling the engine though. Even though I still think it needs to come out for rings.

Thankfully when mine broke every single little piece stayed in the head... I tore it down anyways.. I got lucky and everything was in great shape... no ptv evidence... You are going to have to do the same... pull that intake for now and look at the intake runners on the heads... I hope its not to bad Im leaning towards a rebuild.. expect the worse and anything better than that isn't hard to deal with lol
