Just ordered 4 new Billet Technology oil catch cans during their Countdown Sale ... 2 for my car, 2 for the GF's .... now just need to figure out how to make them work with these cars .... they're meant for Dodge Chargers, lol
I know JLT makes a kit for Roush blowers to use their cans on the side of the blower ... gonna probably end up with a couple of those kits plus some custom work for the driver side cans ...

Looks a lot like my UPR one (pretty sure it is the same)
They have some examples on their site, mines on a 3V and works well.

Took advantage of our 80 degree day here in Phoenix (eat your hearts out suckers) to finish painting the 4-piston Brembos I took off in favor of the 6-piston ones. After eight coats of clear, they're drying in the garage right now. :)

I think tomorrow I may install my new billet pedals.

Must be nice Paul! Jealousy alert! Maybe I'll come visit when we are in Tonopah visiting family.

They're similar, but I'll never buy a product from Unauthorized Product Reproductions ...

Plus, I have experience with Billet Tech's products, always top quality and beyond awesome customer service ... once you have one of their products in your hands, you're hooked. On my last car, a 2007 Charger 5.7, I had all of their underhood covers/caps, a catch can, their coil covers in high-gloss polished finish, and later I switched to one of their clear catch can bottoms ... plus a few things on the inside of the car, plus a couple custom badges outside.

Got an awesome deal on a set of AMR wheels from AM via Alex L, and went ahead and ordered them. Charcoal finish, 19x10's in the front, 20x10's for the rear :)

Washed it! o2sys: we're sending warmer temps your way.

But the best news is that I got my 'race spec' shifter from MGW -- yippee!!
Next, have to find time to install this latest item of mechanical perfection.

For those wondering, the race spec shifter comes complete with the rear NVH bracket, new shifter linkage, a big billet bar to mount the shifter box to the transmission, shifter, shifter box, Loctite, an Allen T-handle wrench, grease, a sound-deadening pad, and two large bolts. I should say that no shifter ball is included unless you order one (and it is extra).

MGW has a trade-in deal for original owners of MGW shifters and it drops the price quite a lot.

Ford20: $487 plus taxes/shipping brought the total to $499. I will put my Barton in the Classifieds and recoup some moolah. Like i said, I don't need a race spec shifter but I'm a pushover for top-notch engineered parts. It's a weakness.

UltraKla$$ic: Will do! Like Ralphie, I opened the box, removed all the bubble wrap, and stared with reverence at the bits and pieces that make up my version of the Red Ryder carbine action BB gun.

Mine is on the way as well, ordered it Tuesday though. I didn't really need it but between MGW's offer to buy back the old shifter and being able to sell my Blowfish bracket, it won't cost me much at all.

Let me know how you like it compared to the blowfish bracket. I may pick one up as well.

I looked at the race spec but they did a limited time 20% off on the regular shifter, plus in talking to them we agreed for my needs the regular shifter and solid arm-to-trans bushings would be economically better for me.

To that end I'm waiting to install until I get it to the dealer for what I believe is a failing passenger side axle bearing. Took the brakes off that side and had someone turn the other tire and the noise was still there. Also have a "rumble" when coasting from just over 70 slowing down. Not extreme but shakes the whole car noticeably.

I'm all stock except essentially the FRPP power pack (used GT500 axle back, new K&N filter and FRPP tune), think they will giver any trouble on power train warranty since a dealer didn't install them?

Finally got rid of the shaker 500. Installed a non touch screen Pioneer head unit with bt for the phone and music. So far so good. It's paired with some Pioneer 3 way speakers that were installed a few years ago.

Replaced my busted radiator cover with a good deal from MMS. Gave into reality and put her up on jacks. Aired down the drag radials and covered.
